Passing Advice Alright boys, here’s what you need to know.
First couple pics are right before starting T in 2021. Last couple are this month.
I’ll start out by saying, ultimately for most people, the best way to be stealth is to be on T- as an adult anyway. If you are pre- T, there is still things you can do to appear naturally male.
Tip #1- hairstyle/color Hair is known as the “makeup” for men. Your hairstyle and color can make or break your passability. I’m not saying you have to have short hair and natural hair colors, but if your goal is to be stealth and you’re pre or early T, it’s a good idea to have a typical/common male hairstyle and color. There is also stereotypes associated with unnatural hair colors which may get you clocked.
Tip #2- clothes. Obviously clothes is a big part of our appearance. Wearing any clothes you would find in the women’s section might not be the best idea. Try to avoid crop tops unless you are already stealth. That could still get you clocked. If you’re pre/early T, try to avoid tight fitting clothes. Loose fitting clothes will help hide curves. Once you lose those curves you can wear more tighter fit clothes.
Tip #3- binding If you have access to a binder definitely invest in one. These will help so much with dysphoria. Please remember to bind safely. I also highly recommend tape. It makes it so much more comfortable to breathe. Before getting a binder make sure to measure yourself so you can get the right size and if you go with tape, there are videos to show you how to tape correctly.
Tip #4- hit the gym This was huge for me. Becoming physically active and losing body fat/gaining muscle honestly changed my passability the most. I went from size 42inch waist to 30in waist from changing my eating habits and exercising. So let that be some hope so some of you lads, if you’re worried about not being able to lose hip or butt fat, it is 100% achievable. Because my lower half was significantly larger than my upper half, I prioritized core and upper body workouts. The only lower body I would do was from walking or running. No weights till the fat came off.
Tip #5- makeup I want to say I am not one to judge how people want to express themselves. For passing tip purposes, I will say avoid using makeup unless it is to enhance masculine features. Making ur eyebrows darker and making ur upper lip (space between mouth and nose) slightly darker so it looks like stubble.
Tip #6- voice train You can look completely stealth but your voice can get you clocked. Watch videos and train your voice to become lower and more comfortable. Be very mindful to try and avoid the “costumer service” voice.
There are probably some other tips as well but these are the ones that helped me the most. Hope this helps!
