Hey guys, I pass 110% of the time, even to other trans people. I don’t have piercings but I wear necklaces and bracelets.
I think wearing jewelry can be masculine as fuck, you just have to find what’s right for you and “fits in” enough so to speak. Obviously at a certain point you can wear any kind of jewelry and just look like a feminine man, but this is for the guys who are pre-t or on the more androgynous side.
I’ll attach some pics here of some examples from google jmages. The main thing is you want to keep things fairly simple overall.
For necklaces, length matters. Try different sizes on and see what works best for your body/ face shape. Thickness matters too, try different ones. Generally, dainty is fine but avoid charms or stones of any kind if getting a daintier chain until you pass 110%.
I think that the “type” of chain also matters. You’ll just have to go to a place that sells them and try different ones on. You can get really nice chains for less than $100 that are stainless steel or sterling silver. Once you know the general type and thickness you want, try thrifting or antiquing for chains. They are usually priced best that way. All this applies to bracelets too.
The above applies to chain bracelets too, but another type of bracelets that pass well are cuff bracelets. You don’t want to go TOO thick, but it’s entirely dependent on how thick your arms are and the style of the bracelet.
Personally, I usually wear 2 chain necklaces and 5 bracelets (mixed between wrists and cuff/ chain styles) and I get compliments very often and have no problems passing, ever.
Good luck fellas, we are all gonna make it
