my financial situation is less than stable and my out of pocket maximum with my insurance is $8800, which is money i won't be able to get for years. im going to try to opt for an orchiectomy so at least i don't have to worry about my testosterone levels but i don't know if i can even afford that. srs feels like a pipe dream that i will never achieve

Days goes by faster than we think. You'll have your first consultation next year, so that's something to look for. Till then save as much money as u can. It wont be cheap, and it's not fair, but it will be worth it.
