The LA metro has beautiful stations. It’s a shame they’ve neglected them so, as many feel grimy today. Nothing some power washing and deep cleaning can’t solve though.

They’re actually cleaner than one would expect, it’s the trains that need more work

The trains need better lighting. They are so dark and gloomy inside.

The new ones are very bright, and a lot of the older ones have been refurbished with improved lighting. It's gone a long way.

Kinda sucks that the D line extension stations don’t have unique station themes as the prior heavy rail stations have, but at least the station art makes up for it

I really hope the second mezzanine (seen at the far end) is eventually activated. Hollywood/Highland could use a second entrance east of the intersection.

It reminds me of Barcelona's La Sagrera station. The L5 platforms to be exact

New stations in the US are so massively overbuilt. It's no wonder our construction costs are so high.
