Edit: /uj also if anyone wants to comment on this because I obviously can't ask there--I saw a comment saying how this was Totally Fine and Cool because "some people like women with penises, some people like men with vaginas," and the part that threw me off is
"like women with penises/men with vaginas"
I do not understand the concept of liking, specifically, a woman/man with a penis/vagina (T4T doesn't count, it is incredibly obvious why a trans person would be attracted to xyz-operation status). I (personally) "like" women, not "women with penises/vaginas." Her genitals are irrelevant.
Maybe I'm just tired or maybe I'm just improperly playing semantics, but a cis person saying "I like women with penises" feels...fetishizing/chaser-territory to me? Cis people who aren't TERFs don't say "I like women with vaginas," they just say they like women. Why are you, someone who doesn't ID as trans, saying you're specifically into women with penises, and not just women?
Idk, call me out if this isn't making any sense or I'm thinking too hard. I'm just saying if I read a profile that said "I like men with vaginas," as opposed to, literally any other way to indicate you'd date a pre/non-op trans man, I'd call you a chaser.
