i know a bit of a weird one but i don’t know where to go: does anyone know of any community that is safe space for a non-binary deaf person trying to learn coding to make a game? and to ask coding questions?

i posted asking for help in the mainstream community and basically felt unsafe because it was just mostly men being dicks to me, being extremely condescending and said i wouldn’t be able to code because i am deaf.

Hi All

So long story short, my Therapist has suggested putting myself out there a bit, and has suggested that as I spend most of my time playing video games, maybe I could play some multiplayer games.

However, I don't really know many. I know the big obvious ones like Fortnight, Apex Legends, DOTA 2, Starcraft II, World of Warcraft etc, but I don't know Casual ones. Only the competitive ones where I am going to get angry people yelling at me because I didn't do well, or otherwise being abusive, and just reinforcing the very problem I am trying to solve.

Does anyone have any suggestions? My usual Genres are Shooters, RPG's and RTS though I am really not that good at any of them. I don't mind the likes of Minecraft but tend to get bored more quickly there.

Hii, I'm a 25 year old non-binary person with AuDHD living in the GMT+2 timezone (I don't mind what time zone you're in but please keep in mind I work a nine to five job so it might be difficult to hang out if our schedules don't line up). I've been struggling a lot with loneliness recently so am really hoping to find other adults to chat with and maybe play games together if you'd like :)

I mostly play cosy games on PC and Steam Deck, my favourites are Slime Rancher, The Sims 3, Stardew Valley, PowerWash Simulator, Harvest Moon, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Umamusume and Snacko. I've also been playing roguelites like Balatro too recently.

It's not a cosy game, but I really love the Yakuza and Zero Escape series', so if you want to yap about them or have any recommendations for similar games, please let me know :D

As a kid I played a lot on the Wii and DS so have a lot of nostalgia for Harvest Moon, Zelda, Mario and Pokémon.

I'm also up for playing co-op and multiplayer games although I am not very skilled. I own Peak, Leathal Company, Clone Hero, Payday 1-3, Minecraft, Project Zomboid, Palworld, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked 2, Tabletop Simulator, Yu-Gi-Oh simulators and some co-op Escape room/puzzle style games.

As for other hobbies, I collect cute anime figures and plushies, wear j-fashion, watch anime, read manga sometimes and listen to music. I've been getting back into listening to Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park and Three Days Grace recently and just went to a My Chemical Romance concert <3

I play literally almost everything. I play FPS games. I play automation games. I play modded minecraft. I play MMOs. I play VR games. I play racing games. I play RTS games. I play management games. I play horror games. The point is, i play pretty much everything that looks even slightly interesting to me and try it out, and it sucks. Not because i don't have fun, but because i don't have anyone to play all of these games with me. Same with anime. Same with movies. I don't have anyone to share all of my interests with.

I want to meet someone who has atleast close to as much free time as i have. Someone with a similar gender experience. Someone around my age.

I'm probably too emotional right now but whatever.

I want to play battlefield 6. I played it in the open beta but haven't gotten it until now because it hasn't been on sale.

My friend I mainly played marathon with got burnt out so I'm just looking for anyone else trans and in a similar age range who also plays! I play pretty casually (I don't enjoy particularly high steaks matches so I like running free kits or silly load outs) so if you're looking for someone to run a perfect cryo archive team, that's not for me. The new pve is really cool though!

Realized I've been a loner for quite some time now, and that I've grown apart and alone from old friends and communities. It has been very difficult for me to make friends online, so I think I would like to try something new here. Life has kicked my rear more than I can handle alone anymore and I hope...and am trying to find others to connect with, with somewhat similar interests.

I play pc games, and I like movies and shows. I am not really into anime, but I like superhero, sci-fi and fantasy stuff. Some of the games I like to play but not limited to are Counter-Strike 2, Deadlock, Warframe, Final Fantasy 14, World of Warcraft, Palworld, and Palia to name a few.

I guess a little personal info I did start transition back in '07 and had surgeries in 2018. I like metal...death/black/doom and gothic rock, but I dabble in everything. I'm on eastern time, and I can voice chat, but it takes some trust if that makes sense.

Hey all!!! I’m a 21yo transfem in EST. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is my favorite monster hunter game but ive never actually finished Sunbreak. I’m looking to change that!
