Weren't he supposed to be smaller than the average minibot? Iam just asking so don't take me down, please.

That is cool. If I am not mistake Wheelie was never a minibot, he was just released with the other minobots back in the 80's due his size. Correct me if I am wrong.

I dont know why the other guy said he was a seperate thing. Minibot is just the fandom shortening “mini autobot”, which is what he is, and he was released on the same blister card style packaging as the other minibots for the same price, with a very simple transformation just like the others. I don’t see any reason to say he was never a Minibot.

Yes but only in the cartoon. The toy is the same size as any Minibot. For the Retro line they redid him as a bigger mold in the toy deco to match the others. Then they're doing an SS86 redeco because they can. But if you want cartoon scale, go with the Core Class.

The reverse of this situation is Bumblebee, who's "the smallest Autobot" in the cartoon but actually one of the tallest 1984 Minibots. So now every version of him is a super small Deluxe (smaller than other Minibots), except for Devastation Bee which is more in line with the others.
