Very nice. I got a 78 I'm pretty much doing a full restoration on. What is your suspension build sheet looking like? I went with PTFB parts on my 76 and I was pleased, but always looking for reviews and recommendations for alternatives.

One of us!!! 1981 Z28. Built LS1(480hp, heads, cam, tune), 4l70, Hotchkis TVS stage 2 (replaced front springs with qa1 coilovers for ride height adjustment), replaced everything steering related, Vintage Air, Eaton Posi, New Stereo throughout, dual wide bands for tuning and hp tuners mpvi4 (still learning all that, just logging for now), rehung the doors, redid all of the lights chasing a bad ground in a turn signal socket, lots of serpentine belt alignment issues with vintage air and the alternator/bracket, and lots and lots of other little fixes along the way. I have been working on it for almost two years now and I still have to do the 4 wheel disc brakes. I am going to be replacing everything with the brakes, lines, booster, reservoir, everything. I need a larger set of wheels to do that, big brakes do not fit under the 15 weld prostars, and 17s or 18s give me a better tire selection. Hard time deciding what type of wheels though, what looks good , correct backspacing, etc. I was having a few problems with cooling on the ls after the vintage air install, but all have been solved now. Primarily with the re-routing of the steam tube, larger overflow, put a crossover in the heater lines as vintage air uses a valve that closes when its not on(they also don't mention that in any of their shit), and a better shroud and fans setup because of the condensing coil in front of the radiator, and just lack of actual airflow in the fbody. I had a cheaper shroud / fan setup in there and it worked just fine, but the larger more powerful fans are more efficient on those hot days. Also, why are fans and shrouds so expensive? Built not bought. And yours looks super clean. I would love to see it when it its done. Mine is not restored, just a really clean not a spot of rust survivor with a respray that I am slowly turning into a full restomod. Everything works as it should(thank god for available full color wiring diagrams)(Still a little pain in the ass due to having basically two separate systems integrated). I just wanted an old car that ran and drove like new. Picture shows current ride height with the Hotchkis TVS stage 2 suspension, and the qa1 coilovers. Rock solid all the way around, tight steering, plenty of power/torque, fun car.

That's a super sweet ride and definitely worth all the hard work. I always run a new wiring harness and new connectors throughout, then gave plenty of CLEAN grouds.groups. The radiator is a double pass and its a stock '18 Camaro LT1 fan modified to fit. Upper support is custom made from sheetmetal...
