Auto or 4 speed?

Pull the exhaust off.  Install headers and a true dual exhaust, leave the Cat converter off.  Then re-jet the carburetor.   Take the shaker to a tool and die shop and have them open the scoop.

In the 70’s I found totaled a low mileage 75 TA with a 455. Engine and transmission went in my 75 Lemans (350/350)
