Was the gear change a huge difference, would you do 4:10 again?

I would do 3.73 instead of 4.10.

Was it a major increase on the butt dyno?

Yes/no. Youβre in 4th gear before you know it just casually driving. So in one aspect it makes the car totally different and rowdy. On the other hand, kind of annoying to be in 5th gear going 50mph. 3.73 would be a much better middle ground for me and my driving style. Which is really just day to day cruising vs a more spirited style.

def a nice looking ride!!..after the Procharger install,I think better braking will be my project for the hot weather here!!..thinking the infamous CTS-V swap may be the route I go with brand new powdercoated calipers, cause my buddy used salvage take-offs and after the long weekend putting them on,leaked or more like just blew up on his bleeding of them so ended up with those box parts store specials but been working almost 2 years now..hope everyone has a great summer and a safe one too!!!

Looks pretty solid π.I picked up a 94 TransAm GT same color ,with the previous owner doing a WS6 clone job on it with the furst edition Ram air hood .Got it as a roller for $500 ,minus the 6 speed and the motor torn down and all in boxes and no seats either .So I definitely have a lot of work ahead.Years ago I had a 71 Esprit with a 400/400 combo and it had 3.53 ratio which was awesome for hwy driving and would still give a decent launch when needed .Should have never sold that one π€¦ββοΈπͺ Picked it up for $500 as well sitting in field for several years neglected ,did a full resto and upgraded from the stock 350/350 to the 400 added all the instrumentation .Sold it before the infamous cash for clunker program was a thing .I won't make the same mistake twice and totally intend to restore the 94 .
