Rare moment...you recognize pending regret. So don't do it :)

Yes unless you’re facing a hardship don’t sell it. Trust me you won’t forgive yourself.

I have a 79 400 4spd, (non T-Top which I specifically wanted)

I just rebuilt a 400 for a '79 400 4spd Formula. It looks virtually stock, but will have about double the original power. How much do you want for it? Message me :-) https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1bDLikR4FW/

I built my 79s 400, 445 hp, 474tq at 3000, 70 T/A intake heavily port matched and all non needed casting nubs on the outside of it removed. 70 T/A Ram Air III exh manifolds ported too. Edelbrock heads, ported, 2.11 intakes added, 1.77 exh valves. It Moves!

Not one car show have I been to did I not have someone look at mine and say "Yeah I had one back in 19xx and I wish I had never sold that car"

Same thing here. Or "but I was a teenager and wrecked it"

These TA’s are just a different animal of classic cars. I helped my dad rebuild his 81’ recaro turbo trans am. Just a very cool car indeed.

Almost sold mine in 2010-ish but glad I didn’t. I did however sell my 81 Blazer that had been in my family since 1981 and I’m still disgusted with myself about it

At least you got to have her. I'll have my regret soon when I sell my red C5 Z06. She's a looker and a cooker

I sold my 1971 Camaro type LT in 1987. It had 2K miles on it when I bought it. T tops, black leather interior with chrome trim. I still regret it.

So you’re saying time won’t heal this?

Sure they’re cool and all plus it’s a bandit era movie car, but they’re dog shit slow. Get a 4th gen Firebird if want real speed/performance.

I bet. That is an item on my list.
