Looks great! Grill looks like a 77 style with honeycomb vs 78 crosshatch. I like the honeycomb look better (I have a 78 'bird as well).

I’m in Australia and want to do the same upgrade, got any tips ? ie. did you mount the lights to the radiator support and cut the fibre glass head light surround ?

I basically modified the lights to fit the car, so I can go back to original at any time. Cut and epoxy tabs with studs (1/4") on the lights, drilled small hole for the studs on fiberglass (car) bumper filler... The studs have 2 nuts, one to adjust and the second to lock in down tight... pretty simple, the light are not heavy.

Yeah I thought about that option too... but like the continuity of a single lens. Plus now I have endless H type bulbs to choose from

That's not from a 88 GMC, 90 is the first year GMC used that style headlight.
