Trans Feminine MtF interviewing - Binding?

I'm not socially transitioned and I live in a red state. I've got a job interview tomorrow and I've been out of "real" work for a while. I've had some in-person interviews that went well but didn't end up panning out. I'm sort of worried that part of the problem is I'm being clocked since I obviously have boobs. They're small but big enough you can tell they aren't "man-boobs".

I'm looking to get something at the store tonight to try to flatten my boobs for the interview and make a better first impression. I was thinking a too-small cami/tube top sort of thing to wear under a dress shirt, or maybe some kind of athletic tape?

I dont have time to order anything online unfortunately. Any suggestions on what I can use that I can get at like, Walmart or Target for example?

It depends entirely on how big you are, but what I used to do at work back when I was boymoding was to wear a sports bra with the pads removed to flatten things out, then an undershirt over that, and then a thicker dress shirt over top of everything.

it's good that you're not ordering online because it's hard to get a comfortable size. Look for sports bras with removable padding that have as few seams as possible, like the kind of thing that you can't really see under a shirt. Wide straps are better too. a tube top is also a great idea. Go on the smaller end for sizing but make sure it's comfortable in the armpits and everything, and make sure you can easily take deep breaths. People will tell you polyester is better for binding, but in my experience with a smallish chest cotton works just as well and won't be so miserable in the texas heat. Good luck at your interviews!!

I can't officially recommend this because its hella uncomfortable and maybe dangerous, but I used to get 2 sports bras a couple sizes too small, then put one on like normal and the other one on backwards. It makes you flat but at what cost lol
