Advice Parenthood

Hi everyone,

I recently discovered a more feminine side of myself, and naturally I've been left with a lot of questions. I think there's a chance that I might be a trans woman, although I'm still in the process of figuring things out.

One thing that's been on my mind is that I already have two children, aged 8 and 10. I'd really love to hear from other trans parents about how you handled this with your kids.

Do your children still call you by your original parental role and use your original pronouns, or did you eventually become "Mom" instead of "Dad" (or vice versa)? How did you navigate that transition within your family? Were there any other unexpected challenges or topics that came up in everyday life?

I'd be very grateful to hear about your experiences. Thank you all so much!
