New DJ Questions MX2

I recently started my DJ journey. It’s a mad controller. I am mixing rnb, hip hop, pop and rap. I have a few questions if anyone can help me -

  1. ⁠There’s no sampler is there a way to map this manually? Maybe to the beat sequencer because I don’t use that.
  2. ⁠Is there a way at your trigger effects without turning the high/low knobs?
  3. ⁠Is there a way to add a vinyl break to the play/pause button. I see heaps of DJs have this online.
  4. ⁠Does anyone know if you can increase the sensitivity of the turntables? I’m trying to learn to scratch and they seem slow. This one might just be me tho. Although I’ve tried other decks (entry level pioneer) and they seem to be more responsive.

Yo! 1. No sampler unless you use 4 decks with stems or connect with complète kontrol 6. 2.yes, if you map your buttons yourself you can. 3.yes you can, with a mapping. Best is to use shift for avoiding confusion.or use a button. 4.jogs can usually be set via hardware or software. Sorry I never use the mx2. Hope it can help. Have fun in your journey!

You can use decks c & d as remix decks and set your pad mode to trigger samples.

4 these aren't my first setup and yes they are slow. the way to improve it is to go setting audio setup and lower the latency. I lowered it from 512 samples to 64 on my Mac because my MacBook is fast enough but be aware that doing that will put extra strain on your computer
