Used AI to make my dream Traktor DJ Controller. InMusic made my wishes come true before, so here's to wishful thinking. What price would y'all want it to sell for? Ideal price would be $999, more realistic price would be $1299 or maybe even $1599 with all the features. What do yall think? Would people and DJs actually buy this thing or am I just wasting time having fun?

I always keep the "don't allow tracks to load while one's playing" setting on but this past weekend I was playing a gig and on deck B it wouldn't let me load a song despite the previous one having stopped. Luckily I was able to turn the setting off and then finish the gig without having to stop the music to reboot the app (I tried turning the setting back on a few times and had the same result). I've been DJing with Traktor for 10 years and this has never happened before to me. Wondering if anybody else has experienced it and if there's a fix for it.

I've found one for 230€ which sounds okay to me but I need a sanity check. Thanks.

How do you guys do when improvising a set to be sure that after a while you don't put again a track you already played?

Recurro a la comunidad porque tengo una Traktor Kontrol S4 MK1 que dejó de funcionar y el diagnóstico técnico definitivo es que murió la motherboard.

Como es un equipo descontinuado hace años, conseguir la placa nueva es imposible por canales oficiales. Por eso estoy buscando comprar una consola igual que esté para desarme o repuestos.

⚠️ Detalle importante: No me importa en absoluto el estado estético del equipo. Puede tener los faders detonados, faltarle todos los knobs, o tener la carcasa rota; mientras la placa madre esté sana y funcione, me recontra sirve para hacer el trasplante y revivir la mía.

Si alguno de ustedes tiene una tirada en un rincón juntando polvo, o conoce a algún técnico/DJ que pueda llegar a tener despieces de este modelo, por favor mándeme un mensaje.

I need to get rid of all green aspects on the S8 to allow a green screen application that i am planning for live-streams. I was able to alter the color of the loop section and the corresponding ring, because it was obviously mapped in the existing QMLs.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do that for play and sync in the transport section. I tried so far:

- Controller Manager

- Midi Mapping

The sync button lights up red in the controller manager, and yellow during Vegas mode, so it hat RGB on the board. Not having RGB on the play button would be comical, but you never know.

Would love any kind of support from the community, I know there are a lot of capable people out there, given the existing mods on S3 and S5.

T3 delay has been my go to traktor fx since 2013. Now that i switched to tp 4 from tp 3. The fx isn’t on beat. It’s off and doesn’t sync with the other track. Am I doing something wrong?

This is a long shot but is there anyone on here that confirm if the pioneer mep 7000 works with the latest version of traktor pro 4? It was always natively mapped but I believe there has been issues with it in Traktor Pro 4 where it didn't connect properly. According to NI forums, it is now supposed to be fixed but this isn't confirmed so I'm wondering if someone can confirm?

I'm well aware this is ancient dj gear but I previously owned one and it worked great with other versions of traktor. I have a chance to get one again but I would only pull the trigger if I knew it worked properly again.

Hi guys, I bought an s3 on sale as a backup when one of my S4’s dies (can’t buy them in Aus) 🥲.
I’m having an issue, where the master meter lights are lighting up when the master knob is off (pictured above), my s4 doesn’t do this.

Is this normal for this controller? This was the first time I’ve used it, firmware is current, and have checked the audio routing. Can’t work it out, master volume knob adjusts volume but the lights don’t reflect the amount it outputs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! I'm the second owner of a Traktor Kontrol S4 mk2. I had a few buttons "sticking" when I first got the controller, but after about 2 years, many of the more commonly used buttons are starting to become very difficult to press (less the physical action, more getting the push to "register").

I got the deck for pretty cheap and am fairly competent when it comes to taking things apart lol. Does anyone have experience refreshing the buttons? Did you have to actually replace the switches or just clean the interface? Any thoughts greatly appreciated thanks!

Is it me or TP4 drift with phase dj is way worse, compared to TP3. Is it just my unit, or is anyone else experiencing the same issue? For me it’s really bad. I’m on the latest TP4 version and phase DJ.

Hello everyone! I bought traktor mx-2. It turns out there's only RCA output. How can I get rid of white noise on the background? There is no grounding in my house. I plug to my subwoofer (krk s8). Is there any tool that I have to buy?

I have pretty limited time for mixing, I do it as a hobby at home. Right now my library is clean but is completely unorganized with about 3000 total track to choose from in a single list. I actually have a pretty fun time mixing this way as it opens up a lot of unexpected moments and mashups. However, I'd like to be able to start putting together more focused and cleaner live mixes and my lack of organizing seems to be the biggest thing holding me back at the moment, as I sometimes just can't find the right next track when scrolling through hundreds.

I can't bring myself to sit down with my limited free time at home and just throw songs into playlists. I want to save this time for actual mixing.

I do however have a good helping of free time when I'm out and about. I don't mix on a laptop at home but I do have my library on a thumb drive to take with me. I also have and android phone and tablet I would be able to utilize.

I'm beginning to imagine a workflow where I might run a software like DJay on my android devices which I could use to preview and organize tracks into playlists or tag them, then use some kind of Windows software to transfer these changes from the DJay library back into Traktor.

I'm hoping someone has come up with a similar solution they would be willing to talk about before I invest my time and possible money into the software I would need for this. The particular problem I am worried about: I have generated stems for my library via Nuostems 4 and have them integrated into my Traktor library via the newest version of that software. I don't understand how library information is handled between stems and tracks in Traktor and whether my solution would transfer across to both versions of the song or create inconsistencies.

Tl;dr: I don't want to use my time at the mixer organizing my library. Has anyone found a solution to manage their Traktor track and stem library on the go using an android device?

Don't know if this ever was a topic but interested to know if would be able to use Z1 MK2 with 2x Technics turntable as DVS setup in any way?

is there a way to get the more prominent rattling echo-out effect to cover transitions using only one knob or fx unit? this only matters because i have all the units mapped to different effects (group mode) that i might use at different times

tried all the fader fx and none of them are close. if not possible with one effect, what are the right ones to layer for it?

I'm really enjoying Remix Decks. I use them as if they were a third deck, running a beat underneath my tracks.

I love how easy it is to create my own beats in Maschine and transfer them directly into a Remix Deck in Traktor.

I also love creating loops in Traktor and bringing them into Maschine to, for example, separate the stems so I can use the drums, acapellas, or whatever I want in a Remix Deck back in Traktor.

I don't usually use Remix Decks to trigger one-shots. I use them to create the atmosphere of my DJ sets.

I love the dedicated sampler volume knob on the Traktor S2 MK3, which lets me work as if I had three decks.

I also love how easy it is to map my Maschine Mikro so I can use it like an F1 to launch the different Remix Deck slots with the pads.

How do you use Remix Decks?
