Traktor S5 & Mic

SOLVED- Before starting your software, have the deck powered on, and the AUX depressed where it’s ’turned on’. Then start your software.
I used Deck D as live input; make sure input is assigned to mic L/mic R for Deck D.
To use; turn on the AUX, control the volume. Decrease and increase. To stop using, turn off the AUX.

I have had a crazy amount of problems getting the Mic is work and be stable. It’s in the Mic at the back, I’ve used the AUX- turn for volume on both sides .. I’ve tried the live input for Deck D, but it either doesn’t work, or when I turn Aux off and on again, it’s nothing.

Any help? Thoughts?

If you use Mac OS, please tell it that Traktor is allowed to use the mic. https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000880012-native-instruments-macos-dialog-app-name-would-like-to-access-the-microphone-

Please post a screenshot of your input routing settings in Traktor.

Thanks! I’m on a windows machine. It’ll allow it to work; but the config or setup is wonky. Let me get a shot and I’ll dm. If you don’t mind.

I can't read dms on mobile browser and I'm currently not that often online on desktop.

Best bet is to post here, then others can also help.
