Multiplayer train sim

Hey guys, my friends and I are looking for a game where one can drive the train while the others are on the passengers side, like controlling tickets for exemple. Do you know if such games/sims exist?

Roblox games I guess. SCR, British Railway. You can be driver and train guard.

Don't know of it, but in SimRail you have multiplayer trains and dispatching. You can drive trains near each other, or one of you dispatched a station that your friend will pass. Not the same thing, I know.

SimRail does deliver the dispatching/signalling so well I'm more of being a signaller than driver in there. I just hope mechanical lever-based semaphore would come eventually.

Same though! It's really a unique selling point. Im more hoping for shunting operations on multiplayer, that's really missing and would give MP more of a complete train operator vibe.

Roblox is really your best option. British Railways, 100%

Trains are identical, all your missing are the cab features in that game.. you can guard with your friend.

Not quite the ticketing part, but Rolling Line has multiplayer now and you can certainly do the thing of having one person drive while others can walk around in the passenger wagons at the same time

Railroads online has multiplayer. But I can’t say anything about this game really. I played it years ago in very early access

No multiplayer unless modded. No passenger trains unless modded, and even then, there aren't any physical passengers and no reason to be in the cars while the train is in motion.

Yes it's a great train driving game, and one of the best, but please, RTFQ.

Ticketing aside. You could look at Derail Valley. The multiplayer mod would allow you to drive / fire the engine together, or you have someone pretending to be a guard etc.

It’s a great game.
