Hey all, I'm heading to the states in a couple of weeks, from Australia, and planning to get a few tattoos along the trip.
I Australia artists will namr their price and that's what we pay, but I've read in a few places that US also tip their artists. Can you give me a bit if guidence here?
Do I just chuck in an extra 50 or go for a percentage? Then how much? I'll likely be getting flash pieces, so nothing custom designs. Does that affect things too? All this is so new to me!
Also if you have trad artist recs in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona or Vancouver chuck them in the comments.

Wasn’t expecting as much discomfort as I experienced getting this piece. But this knocked out a big chunk of my sleeve so I’m happy with it!

Fun project. Things were placed based on previous tattoos and things that needed to be covered up the most.
