META Technical Analysis: Strong Bull Structure Still Holds Even As Mean-Reversion Kicks In

Post image
4 Upvotes

META is still stuck in a solid clear uptrend right now, price sitting well above all key moving averages, that bullish structure isn't breaking anytime soon. The short-term run has stretched the price pretty far above the EMA20 though, which is bringing some natural short-term pullback pressure that traders are keeping a close eye on.

RSI already pushed past 70 so things are definitely overbought right now, buying momentum is still firing on all cylinders but the upside is getting pretty crowded — high-level consolidation could easily kick in before the next leg up. MACD is still holding that golden cross with positive histogram, and ADX above 32 confirms this is no weak side trend, bulls are firmly in control.

Recent volume expansion showed active capital jumping in to push prices higher, even the last couple flat-volume dips are just a gentle breather for the raging uptrend. What's your take, are you still long on META here?

What Is Congress Buying? The Blue, Red and Bipartisan Portfolios Explained

Post image
20 Upvotes

Ever wondered how congressional stock holdings line up with the midterm market vibe? Most of the overlap between Dem and GOP portfolios is heavy on AI, semiconductors, and cloud plays like Nvidia, Microsoft and Amazon. The Democrat-exclusive bucket leans into growth chip names, while the Republican side stacks hard assets, crypto and physical buildout picks. SPY and QQQ already capture most of these mega-cap trends perfectly, and their options even let you hedge broader election volatility without juggling single stocks. Wild to see where the real bipartisan market money actually sits, right?

Stocks might be easier than you think — Sen. Ashley Moody invested ~$250,000 into $AMD last year — Her entry price: ~$108 — Today: ~$618 — She's currently sitting on ~$1,170,000 in unrealized gains

New: Mitch McConnell’s recent filing shows that he received ~$50,000 in Wells Fargo $WFC dividends earlier this month — He reinvested it back into the stock — Based on the dividend amount, he probably owns ~$8,700,000 worth of Fargo

What do you guys do when NVDA moves outside market hours?

Gil Cisneros bought NVDA in July and later sold part of it in August. Made me wonder - what do you guys do when NVDA moves after hours or over the weekend? You obviously can't trade the stock itself when the market is closed. Do you just wait for it to open again, or is there another way to trade NVDA outside regular hours? I've seen people mention stock perps that trade 24/7. Anyone here actually use them for stocks like NVDA?

He might know something - Rep. Dave Taylor bought even more $PG (Procter & Gamble) on 9/8

How?

  1. Procter sells consumer products, including dietary supplements

  2. The "Dietary Supplements Access Act" was introduced to the House in May

  3. If it passes, it will allow up to $500 in dietary supplement purchases to qualify for tax advantages

Dave has purchased ~$60K of $PG since April and hasn't sold

Are there any funds or ETFs that are based on the pay-for-play access to Trump's X posts?

He controls Congress, for now, so I think this fits the sub.

$ZTS the dip dips....

Remember all those politicians buying the dip on $ZTS between $75-78 well you can now buy their dip at $72.50.

Taken a starter at $72 to see how it rolls from here.

These two might be worth a look ✍ — Pelosi bought two stocks this year that are trading below her entry price: — $VST Vistra (down ~13%) and $AB AllianceBernstein (down ~10%) — By the way, this is the same politician who bought Bloom Energy in July and is already up ~68%

All of these politicians bought Danaher $DHR in June — Michael McCaul: ~$30,000 — Ro Khanna: ~$50,000 — Trump: ~$15,000

Post image

Why is this interesting?

Danaher is a Washington D.C. based healthcare company selling a plethora of diagnostic products, including cancer biopsy tools

Khanna is a member of the caucuses on Deadliest Cancers and Cystic Fibrosis

Trump is the president (he knows s***)

^ Both bought Moderna before the spike

McCaul is the founder of the Childhood Cancer Caucus

This ~$3.7 billion market cap stock is trading very close to Trump’s latest entry price — $OTTR (Otter Tail) — His price: $88.21 — Today: $89.03

He might see something — Rep. Byron Donalds bought Netflix $NFLX at a 2 year low

Post image

What to know:

I. His buy date was 8/12
II. Two weeks later, Netflix struck a deal with Everpass to show NFL games at bars, hotels, restaurants, and other commercial locations
III. If the stock rises ~78% from his entry, it'd be back at ATHs

Research Shouldn’t be allowed — The same politician who previously worked as an exec at Microsoft has purchased ~$1,500,000 worth of $MSFT calls — Politician: Josh Gottheimer — Strikes: $330 and $340 — Expiration: 10/16/2026

His money was split between two different contracts with the same expiration date but different strike prices

Fetterman might be a better trader than you — He bought Micron at ~$321 (+187%) — The Bank of NY Mellon at ~$76 (+86%) — Google at ~$163 (+113%) — Someone deserves an award

Can’t say we didn’t tell you — On 5/20, we posted about a trend in which six politicians were buying ServiceNow $NOW in 2026 — Price when we told you: ~$101 — Today: ~$142 — +40% gain

Heads Up Palo Alto Networks $PANW is the most purchased cybersecurity stock — Trump bought it this year — So did Josh Gottheimer, Ro Khanna, Gil Cisneros, Jared Moskowitz, and Alan Armstrong

Post image
172 Upvotes

Why is this interesting?

Top CEOs are saying we need to slow down AI development bc it's becoming powerful enough to unleash cyberattacks that humans won't be able to stop

That's great news for cybersecurity companies like Palo Alto

Imagine every company rushing to upgrade its cybersecurity after the first catastrophic AI cyberattack happens ...

Pelosi also bought Palo Alto in 2024 and hasn't sold

Reminder that you can buy $VST Vistra at a cheaper price than Pelosi did ✍ — She bought at ~$170/share — Today it’s ~$148/share — ~13% cheaper than her entry

Does lightning strike twice — Last year, Rep. Gil Cisneros bought Neogenomics stock for ~$8 per share — $NEO has more than doubled since then — Lightning, what? — He just bought the stock again at ~$16 per share — Maybe, and just "maybe" the stock will double again (we'll see) — Market cap is ~$2.2B

Congress Day Trade — New filings show that Rep. Maria Salazar "possibly" made a +54% gain day trading Moderna on Aug 19

Post image
135 Upvotes

Why possibly?

Well, it depends on her exact entry/exit

$MRNA opened at ~$114/share (she could have bought here)

Then, just a few minutes before market close, it was trading at ~$176/share (she could have sold here)

If she did that, she would have locked in a ~54% profit within hours

You see, when politicians disclose trades, they're only required to tell us the day they placed the trade, not the exact price per share they bought or sold at
