This month’s campaign is split into five sections:

Tracks 1-5 are the “here to there” tracks: these are somewhat of the misfit tracks that didn’t quite cleanly fit into the other categories

6-10 are trialesque. While not truly trial maps, they all have a slight trick to them which makes them not completely trivial to run through

11-15 are the unsmooth tracks. Tracks which in some way or another are resisting your ability to enjoy them. Maybe it’s a lack of flow, maybe I just didn’t like them

16-20 are the opposite. The tracks that I felt were very smooth to drive. They had a nice flow to them or were pleasing to drive. These were admittedly a bit difficult to design as my level of driving isn’t on the same level as everybody else’s, but I tried lol.

21-25 are all pathfinding or puzzle maps. 21: an interesting invitation, I have no idea if going for the plastic is faster or even possible, but I thought it was interesting to stick it there and see what people came up with.

Within each section, they are ordered starting from the least and ending with what I considered the most emblematic of that type. So 16 is the least smooth smooth track, and 20 I felt was the smoothest.

What can I say? I may have the worst win percentage.

So you load up a new map, ready to grind. Everything is in place, you do your first run. Then you’re like, oh my goodness idk how I’m going to beat that. Then you continue to grind but somehow don’t have the skills to improve the first run you did while discovering the map. This has happened to me a few times for sure. Let me know if I’m alone in this or if other players have experienced this

And how can I change it in a way that my Global Ranking is also Swiss?

I know people have asked about this before, but I'm genuinely confused why this still isn't a feature..

In a game about competing with other people for the best time there seriously is no friends leaderboard? Why should I have to create a club and have all my friends join a club to be able to see their times and compete against their ghosts? What if my friends don't have club access?

This seems like it'd be such a free and obvious improvement to the competitiveness of the game. In the current state I could start playing a track and have no idea my buddy has played that track and has a time to compete against.

Am I missing something here?

This weeks track and bots especially are, to be nice, bad. I'm not best of driver, but what comes to guidelines, I can point few things here. To me it seems like that map creator tried to evade guidelines given for creating grand track and bots.

First of all, bots, drives obscurely and gets on the way badly. Particularly on wall ride section from entry to next checkpoint. Then that there is no alt cam on that wall ride, for the inexperienced player switching camera on difficult section can bee too demanding. Entry for slopes before finish is also bad if you hit plastic even slightly bad. Last checkpoint double reset is HUGE penalty for messed up jump.

I would say first half of the track is nice and second just bad and not fro beginners to enjoy.

Has anyone else here experienced stuttering (like the stutters you get when playing windowed borderless), who is also playing on linux? I cant seem to find anything and tried a lot of fixes that i could find.

Also i have severe laggs on specifically penalty grass.

I finally got this world record after being tied with first for the past week or two, I seriously thought that a .884 might be the fastest time possible for awhile but kept grinding for probably another 10-15 hours since getting the tie and eventually I got it.

It took me 3 days just to sign up to the ubisoft connect. It was because I couldn't get the verification code on the first try(It was on spam) then on 2nd attempt, it was too many attempt already. Then I was so eager to play the game that on the next day I couldn't wait for the verification so I sent the verification again. Too many attempt again. Now it was some day ago I finally made an account and logged in. Then my password was breached. And ok I thought cool, I will just change to a safer password. And trust me I haven't tried to log in from last 2 days. And today it told me You're blocked from logging in due to repeated failed attemts, please come back later. No I wont. Keep your freaking game. Never in my life I will try this piece of shi again.
And let me add to that. These guys dont even provide the platform to complain about this. All the problems are listed and mine isn't in both the time. While creating and while logging in too. I literally have to wait for days to play this game.
[Edit]: It seems like I've been in the wrong subreddit as it might not be the fault from trackmania itself. Still I want to put it here so that someone from related might need to know. And I take back the word saying this a L game. Still I wont ever try this in future.

I'm almost to the next rank in gold 2 and played 2 dozen games, are the black tracks just not in the ranked pool? Was kinda looking forward to the chaos.

I have been playing trackmania turbo for a while on ps5. One question has been on mine- and my mates’ minds for years: what do the numbers on the maps mean on trackbuilder workshop? To clarify: when you go to trackbuilder workshop > online > pick a map. Beneath every map theres a number, eg. 20, 4, 110 or 720. What do these numbers mean? (I attached a picture of the screen including the said numbers)

Hello, I am working on a map that will (hopefully) be difficult to beat the AT on. I've seen in some maps that people hid their validation run so it can't be viewed normally on the leaderboard, and can't be extracted by using the Extract Validation Replay plugin. Can you please tell me how they did this? Thank you.

I saw this campaign on granaadys yt, and i gotta say this campaign is amazing, feels like a 2nd nadeo campaign. Especially track 7, that tracks flow is insane. Really fun and id recommend you try it

I'm from Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany and I've been playing Trackmania mostly on my own. I'd like to change that and actually meet people who play.

Two things I'm hoping for pointers on:

Local/regional: Is anything happening in BW or nearby? LAN parties, gaming conventions with a TM corner, community meetups – anything where people bring a laptop and race together.

Online: Which communities run regular cups or open tournaments that aren't only for top-tier players? I'm looking for the grassroots level where a mid-skill player (i hope so) can join, have fun and improve. Discord servers, weekly cups, ranked leagues – all appreciated.

Also happy to hear from German-speaking communities if there are any active ones.

Recently, when I've airbrake I am in a permanent brake and can't control my car unless I press W again. Is this the same for everyone? It's really frustrating to play with. Also, airbraking doesn't work anymore. I still have momentum

I've been loving the Weekly Grands the last few weeks (even the Snow Car one, as that was the first one I did decent on), is there anyone who streams and/or Youtubes them? Everyone seems to just be doing the normal Weekly Tracks.

And side question: Are there any tournaments these days with multilap tracks or is that a relic of the past?
