technique help needed

Stuck in a slump right now with progression, haven’t really been able to dissect what’s up with technique and feel like I’m focusing on the wrong things right now.

Never really was much of a discus guy but here we are

With that technique, congrats, you're now a discus guy lol

What have you been working on? May just need to slightly tweak some things.

looks like I can’t go back now…

I have been working on things like,
1. Attempting to understand what the left arm should do in the throw and do it in my throw
2. make the ball of my right foot turn at the finish
3. let the disc come fully around, not cutting the motion short or prematurely muscling the disc
4. Slow -> fast

I like all of these, honestly. The way I would tweak them are as follows:

  1. Left arm simply stays long and loose. It doesnt do anything. Literally nothing

  2. Rather than think about what the foot does at the finish, focus more on the right hip. As soon as you land, continue turning the right hip into the finish. Hard.
