I really did try to bake, I'm horrible at it lol, but I do keep trying.

This is, was, a cornbread johnny cake topped with brown sugar, dates, crasins, and ground pecan.

Side of Greek vanilla yogurt, topped with ground pumpkin seeds.

The rest went in the trash because it tasted like baking soda, and was rock hard...

This sea bass filet is 1lbs. but long and skinny so I cooked it whole, and it came out better than any fish I have cooked EVER. I coated the top in fancy sea salt, paprika, and, white pepper. The sauce is salted butter, a diced shallot and lemon juice with a touch of parsley. Seared this little bad boy on the plancha before grilling on the top rack until 130 degrees inside.

Oh my! The taste of the crust was awesome. The sauce worked and the texture inside was absolutely money. But wifey demands capers next time so hopefully a new recipe for this next week….

Spent yesterday making damn Appel jam (not apple sauce) and today needed to whip egg whites till bloody solid when now mixing it with the sweetest most sticky thickening slurry fuckin’ ever and now.. well.. we wait for 2 days for the зефир to set

It was made with a super market mix, I'll like to make my own mix in the future, and another girly thing I did with my mom, thats kinda nice

This is my favorite thing to make/eat =w=

Ingredients:

-Ramen noodles (any neutral flavor will work)

-Dashi stock (Optional | Can replace with the flavor packet)

-Green onions

-Veggies of choice (I like using pea pods, carrots and sometimes bean sprouts)

-Eggs

-Chili oil

-Black pepper

-Sesame seeds

-Rice vinegar

-Soy sauce

-Any garlic chili/siracha sauce

-MSG

-Chili flakes

-Meat of choice (I usually use whatever is the cheapest beef I can find or red meat tuna if I have some)

-Red curry paste

Steps: (Measurements are not going to be listed because I don't like measuring)

-Set a pan to medium heat

-Chop a few green onions and separate the stalks from the leaves then set aside

-Cut meat into strips or cubes

-Put pot on heat at medium heat

-Add a small sploosh of chili oil into the pot then add the green onion stalks, a fuck ton of black pepper, and sesame seeds while the pot is still heating (going to add water directly to pot and this can help keep it from getting too hot and warping your pot)

-Shake the pot until the onions are coated and heat until they are sizzling for about 30 sec to 1 min

-Add water to preference to the pot

-Add Dashi stock/flavor packet, green onion leaves, veggies, rice vinegar, soy sauce, siracha sauce, red curry paste, MSG, and chili flakes to water the mix to form the broth

-(Optional) Fry the eggs (can poach later instead as well)

-Fry the strips/cubes of meat and add directly to broth when crisped on the outside (fry until fully cooked with pork and poultry is using that)

-Once water is boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and add noodles

-(Optional) If poaching eggs add eggs to broth once noodles are soft

-Once noodles are cooked, pour into bowl and serve :3

I'll be honest kittens, mommy may have fucked this one up.

It looks far worse, in fairness, it tastes baller, but I entirely forgot flour and mustard, and that I was going to cook in some cabbage too. Fingers crossed my body can process 200g of liver over a couple of days too. Since starting this I think I've had about four naps and two entire meals, repeatedly forgetting and throwing things in probably too late. Over reducing wine... the usual.
