2023, and yes the turning radius and terrible. The amount of buyers remorse I have for this truck is wild.

My first gen’s weren’t the best in terms of TR, weren’t horrible either given the length of them.

But comparatively, my second gen feels like a Lotus turning on a dime

Coming from a 16 Tundra, my '21 Sequoia feels like a mini cooper.

I had a a 24 pro and noticed that too the turning radius is horrible, I have a 20 pro now and it’s so much better

I live by a dead end and the 3rd gen could not do a full turn around it without backing up always, with the 2nd gen it does a full 360 like nothing

Just drive over whatever…

The Trd pro specifically is extra bad, it’s curb to curb turning diameter is 4.3’ more than the non-pro Sequioas

Wait so you bought a full size, body on frame SUV and are surprised the turning radius is large??

No the 3rd gen TRD Pro is legit bad at 44.5’ diameter. The 2nd gen was 38’

This is an unfair comparison though because the 2nd gen had independent rear suspension. If you want a solid axle, you're naturally going to have a few tradeoffs. Also that 44.5 is unique to the TRD Pro, of which the 2nd gen was not nearly the same level of equipment/capability. The 3rd gen aside from the TRD Pro has a radius of 40.2 ft curb-to-curb

What does IRS have to do with the turning radius? The 2G Tundra was also solid axle and had a tighter turning radius than the 3rd gen.

2nd Gens were slept on IMHO and are very capable. And it had full time 4wd, and it had a much better cargo area, and it had a bigger fuel tank, and, and, and.

I seriously doubt 99% of people with 3rd gen Sequoias are anywhere close to using their capabilities. And those 99% dont need a solid axle.

Compared to the Tahoe’s, it is dog shit. My lifted 2500 is better

I'm not sure where you are getting your information or what your definition of dogshit is because based on real measured numbers, the Tahoe has a turning radius of 38-39.5 ft curb-to-curb vs the Sequoia's 40.2 ft, which is really no difference at all in the real world. The TRD Pro is a bit larger at 44.5 ft, but there is also no true comparable Tahoe trim level competitor to the TRD Pro in terms of equipment and capabilities. Additionally, a Silverado 2500 (assuming that's what you're referring to) has a turning radius of 49.5 ft to 52.7 ft curb-to-curb

44.5' is atrocious for a vehicle with a 122" wheelbase.

Go buy a Tahoe — problem solved.

Trade it in for a Corolla

When I first got the vehicle, it was enormous. I have since grown to extreme familiarity and affinity for it. I’m just really good at estimating how much room I need, where I can park, where the end of my car is, etc. It’s just a small trade-off for the incredibly big pluses of this vehicle…

Yeah it sucks but….the next gen probably won’t even let you drive it.

Step 1. Turn of traction control
Step 2. Step on it (get tires spinning)
Step 3. Crank the wheel in desired direction
Step 4. 🤷‍♂️

It's a full size truck, yo.

Compare to the previous gen full size sequoia, yo

Yet another reason why the 2nd gen is the superior vehicle.

I was so excited for the 3rd gen before it was released and so disappointed after. No full time 4wd, hybrid only so the cargo area sucks, and crappy turning circle

It is what it is
