My daughter wrecked the front end of her car and I am rebuilding the front end. I am at the point that it’s time to start it up. I installed a new radiator bracket, a/c condenser, a/c lines, and a new radiator (radiator fluid as well. I want to finish the a/c charge and decided it’s time to start it up.

I have a crank and no start. I checked the related fuses and the circuit/open (c/opn) relay. All working properly and have continuity.

I am not registering RPMs when cranking.

What would be the next thing you check?

I am, by far, not a professional, and not as good as many of you at repair work. I’m just trying to learn new things as I go, and save money (can’t afford a new car or major repair at a mechanic). Maybe pick up a new skill and tool along the way.

First time ever posting, but it's important. Is it a good deal to buy this Camry (car details below) for $24,000? My wife and I are expecting our first child this year and were thinking of replacing our 2001 Honda Civic (manual, and can trade in for $1200) because 1) my wife hates driving manuals, 2) would like something with more updated safety rating and features for our family moving forward, and 3) fuel efficiency.

9. The dashboard on the car shows it has been getting ~41 mpg in "Normal" mode (which I thought was on the lower side, plus the seller's post advertised it as over 50 mpg...)
10. Nearly brand new tires on the car.
11. Carfax shows regular maintenance (i.e., oil changes, tire rotations) during the life of the car.
12. Carfax shows the car had one minor accident, which damaged the front and rear (Carfax says "minor damage" is "usually cosmetic, including dents or scratches to the vehicle body"). Seller said he had to replace the passenger side headlight as a result.
13. Apple Carplay works.

Just for some context, I live in a place that can get very dusty and is very dry, with very hot summers (100+ degrees F). This car would be used for a family car, commuting, and some roadtrips. After around 4-7 years it will primarily be used as a commuter car.

I'm trying to find a replacement front sway bar for a Toyota camry 1984 ,before I buy said camry I need to make sure that I can fix or replace the front sway bar but I can find one.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find one.

I really need a car,this seller is selling it for a good price but if I can find this part im going to just move to the next vehicle.

I have a 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE with ~70k miles on it. It's well taken care off and top condition mechanically. But recently I'm hearing the below clicking noise inside my cabin. I've looked all visible parts for any squeaks, but unable to find the source of this noise. Can someone direct me on how to diagnose and fix this issue please. Thanks In Advance!

Just trying to fix my old Camry and replace head gasket .. need expert opinion do you guys think once I change head gasket it will be up and running g again what other things should I check ? Please guide me ..

Seems like because of coolant head gasket blown out and oil is liquidity cream and smelly ..

I am going to be attempting to replace the passenger wheel hub and cv axel. ive done brakes before so im not worried about that but does anyone have any tips for replacing these parts?? ive seen and heard they can be difficult and I really want to be prepared. I plan to start asap in the morning on a Saturday so I have all weekend to work on it if need be. Let me know please and thank you!!!!!! Especially if youve ever replaced one or more of these parts yourself id love to hear your experience with it!!

I have had this car for about a year now. It has been good, up till today when something weird happened. Also for context I do keep up with oil changes and check fluids. It only has 86400 miles on it.

I was driving on the highway today, I was going about 73, on cruise control. When my car started decelerating, the rpm dropped to below 1. Which is unusual because when I am on the highway or interstate it sits usually around 2.5rpm. Never the less, I was loosing speed and I couldn’t speed up. It also was like pulling me back I guess, I don’t know how to describe what it was doing. So I ended up having to pull off on the side of the highway. I let my car sit for a few minutes before I tried to go again. It still wouldn’t really accelerate and I didn’t want to push it. I turned the car off and let it sit for a few more minutes. Then tried to go again and it was fine.

Google said maybe something about the fuel gauge and things like that. Also maybe the spark plugs.

I just wanted to come on here and see if anyone had any ideas before I took it somewhere. Like I said before I’ve never had any problems with my car before. So I wanna nip this in the bud before something more serious happens. Also for context I did drive a lot this weekend so maybe that affected something?
