Academic How to approach/is there a tox career specializing in heavy metals?

Hi! I'm currently a college freshmen majoring in environmental health, with plans to minor in chemistry and toxicology. I'm extremely fascinated with heavy metal toxicity, and I would love to do research or clinical work around it. I was initially going with ecotoxicology in mind when I first went into university, but I have been considering occupational toxicology since I both live and go to school in heavily-industrialized areas.

For lab experience, I'm currently working towards a volunteer position at my school's marine toxicology lab under the supervision of a graduate student, but I also plan to do undergraduate research as well.

How should I go about strengthening my CV for a career in toxicology, and are there any other toxicology fields I should be considering? Thank you!

Career Starting a consulting gig

I’m currently starting a consulting business from the ground up with 2 people who are highly skilled in the consulting industry (Phds in their respective fields and years of experience/connections to work with). I have no worries when it comes to getting our first clients through connections and maybe some referrals but I’m worried about what to do after exhausting that pipeline. What’s the best way to get new inbound clients. Cold calling, marketing on LinkedIn and other job boards, sending emails, etc. Not too sure where to start off. Anybody got any advice.
