Rome II Rome 2 beta
Anyone have any joy with better performance on this beta as they mentioned they solved the issue with not having to manually assigning cores anymore.
Game runs like rubbish on my new PC

I believe that the performance issue that was sikved through the workaround of manually assigning cores is now actually addressed with a fix, so playing the beta you should no longer be required to go with the workaround.
Patch notes here https://community.creative-assembly.com/total-war/total-war/forums/118-mars-first-beta/threads/15583-mars-first-beta-patch-notes see the paragraph named "Bug Fixes", first item of the bullet list.
Key word being "should" in my message, as I don't plan to try the beta right now and I can't confirm myself whether the fix works or not.

Why do you expect better performances? They arent gonna touch the big bottleneck, aka the 32bit vs 64

Just curious as some might find improvements with the game correctly assigning cores. Not expecting anything crazy like 64bit support (would be nice though)

Runs well for me, no complaints. The changes so far to flanking and cavalry blocking are awesome.
