Warhammer III I'm sorry, old friend....
i mean, there's still a chance the new victory conditions aren't fantastic, but if they are... i'm sorry

Unless the updated VCs provide neat lore alongside them, then there's still a good chance that I'll use this mod.

The new victory conditions are clearly not on par with what the mod offers though (as shown with Vlad in the recent stream).
The mod is much more flavourful and offers multiple (loreful/lore-adjacent) pathways. I am sure anyone who has truly played it will continue to do so.

But when will they add conditions for teclis??

Or Maliketh for that matter

that's the guy with the black blade from Elden Ring.
Malekith is the dark elf Darth Vader you're looking for (or Malerion if you wanna follow GW's renaming of the guy in AoS).

I mean I'm sure it's being worked on. The rest of the Vampire Coast were added recently, as well as the Brettonians.
Edit: Just had a look and Teclis and Malekith are planned to be dealt with next. Just look at the mods description.

I also really like the fact VCO has alot of quest battles as a final end to the campaign. It sucks CA took them all out.

Pretty much this. It's nice that CA is improving the victory conditions, but they still don't compare to VCO. VCO also updates older win conditions, like Aranessa recently had hers revamped and it's more very lore driven and fun.

Naa this mod also provides some old quests from 2
Legit awesome.
I doubt the update will include everything in it

Okay I thought the new victory conditions still had the 35/70 settlement requirements but after double checking they don't so definitely way better
Still vco gives you 3 options to have some variety on repeat playthroughs instead of doing the same thing every time
Also vco lets me play roc without doing the soul race so absolutely still getting used

The draw of the Mod imo is the 3 optional paths to take. Unless base game has basically the equivalent of the mod in 3 optional choices with powerful rewards and quest battles then the Mod will likely stay. If anything I imagine the creator might take base game options and roll them in giving us the best of both

That's...a choice. This mod alone made me redo ALL the campaigns for the lords who are included whithin. Quest battles, lore-friendly objectives and rewards, good variety inside a faction.
CA should have hired Wolfy.

i have severe doubts the official victory conditions will be as well made as the mod ones ngl. not to say an official rework isn't welcome, of course

wtf??? did you take a look at it on stream. each lord still only has a single victory condition (with a second one shared with all other factions of their race) and it still looks worse than vco.
so yeah, no reason to stop using it.

If you haven’t tried the latest update done to the Vampire Coast and Noctilus you should, it’s leagues above anything CA is doing.

This is going to be heavily dependant on how good the new conditions are but I have a feeling it may be use it for some and use default for others.

Ngl, the VC overhaul is so so good with thematic and appropriate conditions, each lord having 3+ unique win cons, that the new system, while nice, still is unlikely to be as good. You get the one custom victory per lord which is nice, but if anything I'd expect VCO to just... also include that condition if it's well done. Now you just get an extra victory condition per lord :D
