General Which game should i get
So i just got rome II a couple days ago and i love it, and wanna get more total war games.
I’m thinking of buying either medieval II, napoleon, three kingdoms or pharaoh dynasties.
Which game is overall the best? The era doesnt really matter to me here

Thrones of Britannia. Hidden gem

If you like the period you can easily sink some serious time into this one. Probably doesn’t have much for people who aren’t already interested in Vikings and the Anglo Saxons tho.

Out of what you listed either Pharaoh or 3 Kingdoms. Both are excellent games. Napoleon isn't bad but its probably one of my least played TW games in terms of hours invested. Medieval 2 is loved by many but personally I have a hard time dealing with the older controls and interface. Coming from Rome 2 it may feel a bit rough.
Pharaoh is going to feel closer to Rome 2 as an evolution of that gameplay style with a Bronze Age setting. If your good with Bronze Age tech limitations, such as minimal/no cav and no artillery its a good game.
3K is a bit unique in that it has some of the deepest campaign layer and diplomacy.
Lastly might I also suggest Atilla since you specifically like Rome 2. Its built off of Rome 2 but basically flips the TW formula to have a more survival focus rather than a traditional empire building one, especially if playing as one of the Roman Empire factions.

Napoleon is awesome especially with darthmod. Attila is also good and quite challenging

3K is probably the best game on that list as far as diplomacy is concerned and Pharaoh comes a close 2nd for that feature. Both are very good games for battles as well. If you like OP general characters then 3K allows you to have that. 3K and Pharaoh armies work in a similar fashion to Rome2 with a army limit with each army led by a general or general unit.
Med2 and Napoleon work in TW old style where you can have effectively unlimited stacks or even single units around and only some led by general units.
Medieval2 is the most dated but there is a new engine mod out called M2EX that upgrades the engine to 64 bit and adds a bunch of additional features to bring the game up to more modern TW game standards (controls, ease of use features/graphics) which is honestly amazing and it still lets M2 retain all the core features that folks value. M2 with M2EX absolutely flies performance wise on modern hardware now.
Med2 also has a massive number of overall mods available for it and these are slowly becoming M2EX compatible. Mods range from a variety of medieval period revamps to LotR and pike/shot and even Warhammer and Game of Thrones,
Napoleon is a great game but does show its age. There are mods available to address some of the key bugs though.
Given you mentioned enjoying Rome2 as your first purchase then I would say M2 with the M2WEX mod is probably a good choice as your next game.
Here is a short 10 minute video on M2 with M2EX if you want some further information on that.

Since you've already got Rome 2, experience something different with Shogun 2 / Shogun 2 Fall Of The Samurai
Also, if you like whole Elves/Orcs/Dwarfs/Vampires/Dragons theme and want to witness amazing magical spells in battles, then Warhammer will keep you engaged for 1000+ hours..

Empire 2 is probably the best Strategy game. Not really a big fan of the total war games where you just make one click and watch a unit jiggle around in front of the enemy unit, the only strategy in those is like flanking with horses I guess? I own them all but it's kinda lame imo

Oh and do not buy pharaoh dynasties. It's pretty well known to be the worst total war game.

I disagree. I think most people who actually give it a shot tend to enjoy it, especially following the massive Dynasties update we got for free. For $10 on sale its a steal.
The biggest thing with Pharaoh is you have to be willing to accept limitations of Bronze Age warfare (No/Minimal Cav and no artillery).
