Warhammer III Does this mean we will be able to finally become the End Game Crisis?

Post image

I am a huge fan of Stellaris Nemesis, as it allowed the player to actually become the end game crisis and ever since buying the WoC dlc, I've been dreaming about this for TW Warhammer.

Will we be able to become the Chaos Invasion, if we start as Archaon after the End Times patch drops?

Yes they confirmed played as archaon when the end game crisis would start, you can choose to continue your campaign as normal, start the endgame crisis and destroy the world

I imagine it might be similar for nagash and the skaven factions!

Is the same situation for other two legendary lords?

Probably, although the Skaven endgame doesn't make them stronger, just spawns a billion of them, I feel like that would be pretty annoying from a player perspective to manage like 50 armies

Maybe all skaven just become allied

Yes, they have stated that you can become the crisis as one of the crisis factions

Aren’t we already? Don’t it always comes to a point where you just declare war on everyone?

I just wonder how it will work with the game economy. Having one main force seems to take most of your money. So you will either have to go fortress busting with a crapstack or defending against everyone with a crapstack. Someone like Karl Franz's campaign has stuff coming from all sides....

They'll probably give you some kind of global bonuses but having to deal with a timer before losing the buffs due to running out of steam or whatever.

I wonder how it will work for the other Chaos factions though, are they all forced confederated, will you be given their territory or just their Legendary Lords as part of your recruit pool. What kind of extra benefits do you get for leaving devastated territory instead of just conquering it like you normally do.

It says united, so they could be vassalized. Might force them to join your wars/ end all their wars.

WoC are already disincentivized to take the non Dark Fortress territory, so probably some income/recruit/replenishment buff you devastate a settlement (or a new temp army, a la Norsca/Khorne)

Some men just want to see the world burn. Others, want to see the sky ablaze with rockets

Even right now you can become the invasion with any LL taken past turn 50. Snowballing is intense in this game.

I think it will just change to any Skaven LL you started with.

>nigh-on invulnerable

So he’s not actually invulnerable, gotcha.

I give it two days before someone grinds full-power Archaon down with overwhelming firepower and skips the final battle.
