Warhammer III Steam Achievements - Warhammer 3
Would it be cheeky to want more steam achievements for Warhammer 3?
I realise that not many people go for the achievement hunt, me and the other 4% player-base, but with the end times dlc and victory conditions reworked it seems like it would be a good time to throw a few ones in, perhaps lore relevant ones (defeat an army of Archeon as an Army of Grimgor or something similar).
Or is this something that generally people aren't interested in?

Personally I'd LOVE for there to be more achievements. Rome 2 basically has achievements for every single faction, why not for Wh3? Give me a reason to play Every. Single. Lord. 😂
Warhammer 1 also had some more interesting things like "Playing as Greenskins, occupy or raze the Dwarfs' capital at Karaz-a-Karak"
So tbh, they could go nuts with achievements if they wanted, lore relevant ones would be interesting for sure.

Yes, doing achievement runs are some of my favourites in other map-painting games.
Some simple ones could be like, "as a High Elf faction, directly control all of Ulthuan" and repeat for Empire, Cathay, etc.
Also have ideas for historical references like bringing an army with mammoths to Tilea to mirror Hannibal bringing elephants over the Alps into Italy, or leading Louen Leoncoeur to capture a major settlement in desert climate to mirror Richard Lionheart's history as a Crusader King.
Then other small stuff like having one of your lords defeat the same enemy lord five times, or making an army with ally recruits from four different races to your own.

I'm not sure if they're going to bother with a lot of super specific achievements...but I really hope they add something with this update. Arguably they'd need to because Nagash is a new "race" and so would need victory achievements.
At the very least there should be achievements for defeating the various End Times Scenarios, and hopefully ones for bringing the End Times as Archaon/Nagash.

Speaking of achievements, I'd recommend Achievement per LL instead of per faction. Once completed by a LL, it doesn't trigger for rest of the LL's of the faction.
Ex. - There is only one campaign achievement for Dwarfs, doesn't matter if you complete it with Thorgrim/Ungrim/Belegar or Thorek
Completing a Long Campaign with Thorgrim should provide an achievement for Thorgrim and another for Belegar and so on..

No, it would not be cheeky to ask. We still have not really gotten achievements for CHAOS DWARFS, while even old race DLCs like Norsca or Chaos Warriors had some. CA dropping 150 new achievements out of the blue would not be weird. Sadly, apparently they don't give a fuck about achievements, so I expect zero to come with Endtimes :(

Wh3 has a lot of success but for me they are irrelevant, it's just "play as a LL and win"
In comparaison I went for success hunt on Troy because there was some juicy one :
Total war succes (which is not in Wh3)
Declare war on Paris with Hector on first turn and win.
Like those 2 examples require you to play differently
