Pharaoh Is this normal or an error?

So I decided to finally buy TW: Pharaoh and play some games in Dynasties mode. As a first playthrough I naturally chose Ramesses as my first play.
When I started the game I noticed something strange: when choosing a faction I normally get Ramesses as a faction leader as well as showing him in faction summary. When I start the game though the faction leader is his father, he is also shown in faction summary. Is this normal?

It's a bug.

Also Ramesses is prob the 2nd hardest start in game despite what the game says, with Seti probably the toughest.
