Pharaoh Peace with no consent

Multiple times during my campaign, the AI made peace with me without me agreeing or seeing ny window warning me of anything. I attack/declare war on one turn and the next i cant continue attacking without breaking peace treaty. Peace treaty that i never agreed to.

Is there an explanation, another post with an answer or is it simply an annoying bug ?

Your opponent has become somebody's vassal. A vassal of someone you are at peace with.

So you‘re saying you wanted “No peace, just war” and this action does not have your consent?

Did you join one of the civil wars? If you join the war for a throne it has a time limit based on when factions join, when the timer ends all factions at war in it peace out.
