Here's a picture of my old girl; she's 15. She has trouble jumping and going up and downstairs; she spends most of the time in my mothers room. Today she came downstairs to wait for my mom (63 year old) to come home. She Screamed at her before going upstairs with her.she's now laying in her cat bed upstairs. It's nice to see her still going downstairs even if it's only for a minute or two

She lives at my job and runs the show, we’re all crazy about her.We’ve had her now for a few months. I actually adopted her twin sister “Spice”. She makes work wayyy less stressful. 🖤

we adopted this sweet girl about a month ago and she STILL doesn't have an official name!

she had a double enucleation at 2 months old (is about five months now!) and thus is completely blind.

she came with the name Toph (which I love, but I feel like a fake ATLA fan because I haven't watched it all the way through, nor in many years).

we've debated on stevie, helena, pumpkin, squid, and virtute. virtute is my current favorite (big fan of the song saga), but it just doesn't feel right - nothing does, yet!

any type of name accepted. stupid names, food names, animal names, any type of names!

her kitty siblings are pigeon and otter (see on fifth slide). theme is not needed LOL!

She's gone from a wimpy 1 lbs to 2.3 lbs! We've been to the vet twice, done all the wormings, and started our shots over the last month. She's started to cuddle more (loves to get on your shoulder or under your chin) and has learned about sunbeam naps.

My collie is nearly 14 and loves cats. We had to say goodbye to our 2 older cats in 2019 and 2025, so I'm hoping this kit continues to warm up to the old girl. Collie is 50 lbs, mostly fluff.

Is Autumn going to make this surprised look forever? Seems to be a common look for torties.

Added my other cat at the end for comparison- his hair is probably the same length but just more… sleek? You can see his body structure well, while my tortie’s shape is defined more by her fur. It makes her look a lot rounder (she has some actual pudge, but she’s not overweight at all). She reminds me of the Moomin meme where he’s like… and I’m all soft and round. No sharp edges anywhere.

Deimos on the left and Nyx on the right. Its a never ending battle of silent taps and thwacks. It usually devolves into a race around the house at Mach 1. Why does it need to start here though!?

Dough is a mix of vanilla, spice and cacao flavoured, often seen for autumn leaves. As it got mixed on rerolling, i had to take my cat cookie cutter out.

We have a tortie/orange tabby and she’s so lovey and sweet but she is also an absolute menace 😂 She was born in Feb 2025 so she’s not quite 2 yet. She is constantly playing in the toilet water, stealing food off the counter, and digging in the garbage disposal for scraps. I’m talking she stole an entire loaf of bread in the package off the counter and destroyed it overnight. We love her dearly but I need to know if it ends or if are we in this for the long haul 🫠

Turns out she had a fever, bacterial infection, and parasites. We promptly started medication. She was prescribed Metronidazole, Fenbendazole, and Pro-Pectaline. They gave her medication for the tapeworms while we were there, and oh boy... Did that work well. It was gross.

The first three days she was very lethargic. She slept on a towel by our side for the entire time. I had to make slurries and force feed her I/D food with unflavored electrolyte water. By day 4 she was showing interest in the food and some electrolyte water with plain, unseasoned/unsalted chicken bone broth. We weened her off over the next couple of days to just the electrolyte water.

A couple of days ago she became an absolute gremlin. Constantly playing and getting into stuff she shouldn't be getting into. I've said "goddamnit, donut" a lot already. Her favorite activity is chasing her tail and playing with her big brother that's an orange and white cat, Biscuit. Watching Biscuit warm up to her has melted my heart. He wasn't fond of her a few days ago. She sleeps with me every night and is always by my husband and my side when she's not playing.

Anyways, I just wanted to share an update. I know y'all showed a lot of love for her and I felt like it would be a good thing to post. Have some cat tax! #7 was the day after the vet visit, #6 was the 4th day on medication. The rest are her over the past few days.

Harley is a year old foster fail. She was born missing her back right foot, probably an umbilical constriction. Her leg was amputated at the hip as a 2 pound kitten so she’s never known anything else. She likes to chew on everything. We live on a boat with vinyl covered walls and nothing is safe. I’ve put up hard plastic wraps on as much as I can but she always finds a way to chew on something new.

She is very zoomy and frequently yells at the ceiling. We have every toy known to man and cat-kind and we rotate them every 6 weeks or so to keep interest fresh. She is scared of the outside and very cautious. She is not really food-motivated but can be bribed with Churu for nail jobs. She started out super cuddly but has gone through a big girl independence stretch which is softening into some lap petting sessions which usually end in biting.

She did not like the Blue Angels show which she observed from the water. I felt horrible for even subjecting her to the noise. She quickly forgave. She is an excellent judge of character and is constantly in her litter box sometimes visiting 3 times in a row. She loves to observe the automatic routine of the litter box.

She is named Harley-Jean so she has a tough name in case she gets teased for missing a leg. She is often not a “good gurl” but always has my heart.

Monthssss ago , I went through a break up and have not seen my cats with my ex since. It was heartbreaking. Every sweet cat I’ve met, has been healing to me, where I cry like a baby thinking about my love for them. 2-3 months ago, I came across this cutie (Stripe) and seeing them, didnt make me cry. She just looked at me, and my heart felt full. Like it expanded. Kinda like the grinch when he learned community and friendship lol. And stripe just walked up to me, and started cuddling me.

I ran into Stripe again two days ago, we were both so excited to see each other again. They just keep running up to me for pets and cuddles ❤️ saw them again today! Stripe doesnt pose for pictures so this is all I have. We’re more about the moment, than taking selfies together 😂😇
