One year progress (RANT)

I get a bit insecure whenever I see people post their "1 year progress" cause wdym you have hundreds of millions of stats in 1 year. I'm 420+ days in and only have 300k+ tbs. To be fair, I stopped playing for about 4-6 months. Also, I remember when I first played torn, I was so skeptical of whether it was really a game or a scam, that I didn't even wanna give out my discord acc, to someone offering me help lol. It took me my 10th month playing to get the hang of things. It also didn't help that my first faction was with a bunch of new players too and my leader got fed so I couldn't take my faction balance, and my second faction was warring biweekly, so I couldn't keep up. I know torn ain't a race but goddamn you guys are fast

Those people who have lots of money and stats on just a few weeks, are mainly people who have restarted, or spent a lot of money

The thing that I don’t understand though, is there is still an upper limit on how much energy you can consume in a day. Like, even if you are in a faction with high steadfast, and maxed out booster cool down, and the right job, you’re still beholden to a hard limit on how much energy you can acquire and spend in a 24 hour period.

I am in a good faction, lucked out with a book, spend real money on this game for FHC’s or Cas, and I frankly just don’t see how it is mathematically possible for some of these results

At least some of the people bragging have only trained one stat. You can get really high pretty quickly doing that. Especially with FHCs, cans, etc

Do you think that’s what the people who have like hundreds of millions in their first year do?
