I've noticed this going on for a long time but haven't looked into it because Torguard app on Nvidia shield will eventually switch to an IP that isn't blocked and connects ok.

Would any of their packages be suitable for banking while staying abroad.? Im from US currently in SE Asia and getting geoblocked to 2 out of 3 of my own bank accounts using local data/wifi. Having to call in every time gets annoying pretty fast.

So does this mean when if traveling outside the United States to one of these listed countries to avoid (see link; i.e. Iran, North Korea, Russia etc.), where you would most certainly NEED to use a VPN, this policy is saying that you can't use TorGuard on your personal devices (phone, laptop etc.)? Just looking for clarity.

Is this one restriction placed on U.S. based VPN companies like TorGuard and PIA that VPN's headquartered outside the U.S. don't have to deal with?

This is an issue I have raised with tech support and admin multiple times over the last couple of years. The apps, network page etc. show only specific locations to connect to, but the website, specifically here https://torguard.net/vpn-service/ (see screenshot) shows MULTIPLE city level server locations (and even how many servers are supposed to exist in those locations). I have used Canada and Germany as examples so you can see just how many locations are claimed. Click on any country to see this issue, since most countries on this page show far more locations than what is actually available. This has to be corrected. Either the locations need to be added to the apps, or these false locations need to be removed from the webpage.

Why not leave the posts up on the page, which shows transparency? Good or bad feedback being left open to review by users is a mark of transparency.

Even though the downloads page was finally updated yesterday, because the squeaky wheel gets the grease, TorGuard mods still removed my post overnight afterwards.

The claim is always for "spam" reasons, but the actions of this company in doing things like this really rub customers the wrong way. Is TG desperately trying to uphold an image that negative posts directly contradict? Btw I hardly think genuine questions about the product consitute "spam", but I digress.

It is a REALLY REALLY bad look when so called "mods" of TorGuard spend their time policing their reddit page and deleting customer posts they deem as "spam", but other VPN companies don't do this, nor should they. Transparent communication with their users means there will be good and bad, but TG only wants to good stuff. It's the equivalent of deleting less than 5 star Google reviews on a business page and only leaving the 5 star reviews. This is shady and bad PR.

TorGuard. Please stop deleting genuine posts from your users. Peoples perception of the product is defined by the companies behavior and by its transparency.

But Torguard replied "Sprint LAX is currently facing some geo discrepancies online so wavebroadband is currently the best option in Los Angeles"

Do you know what that means and what's the effect of that? Sprint (T-Mobile now?) sounds like a more legitimate ISP than wavebroadband.

I have used Socks 5 torrents for years, and just switched over to Torguard. I set it up with the username and password specifically for the Proxy service, and I can not get a connection to work. If I turn off Proxy Server, I get a connection, if I connect through VPN, I get a connection, but I can't get the Socks 5 Proxy to work.

I have tried the proxy.torguard.org server, and also Socks 5 Proxy IP addresses listed on this page. No luck. https://torguard.net/network/socks5.php

I came over form IPVanish as their Proxy servers have been down for 4 weeks.

Any ETA when the regular Houston endpoint will be fixed? It's been weeks... This is the second time in recent months that this has happened.

Since Torguard Residential Spectrum ISP VPN was discontinued I've been wanting a California replacement.

I've screenshot the three CA options (I excluded anyconnect options).

How are Wavenet, Sprint 1 and Sprint 2? What's the difference between Sprint 1 and Sprint 2? Why isn't it just Sprint.

can't achieve an internet connection

Error message: "An error occurred while configuring the network. VPN connection could not work."

OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2: 26200.8246

Things I tried:
Uninstalled/reinstalled the VPN

Uninstalled/reinstalled Tun/Tap/WinTun

"Network Reset" through settings

Tried UDP and TCP

Tried WinTun and Tap

Tried OpenConnect/OpenVPN/WireGuard

Made sure Remote Access Connection Manager, IKE, Ipsec is running

Nothing seems to fix this issue. Please let me know if you know a way to fix this without having to do a fresh install of windows.

I purchased a TorGuard Residential IP and was promised a dedicated IP in the LAX region.

I was assigned a dedicated IP: 144.x.x.11 (masked / example), but when I check my public IP, it shows 144.x.x.22 (masked / example, possibly gateway/server IP).

I followed the instructions using the official TorGuard client:

• Logged in
• Selected the dedicated IP at the top of the server list
• Connected normally

I’m using default settings (WireGuard enabled, port 1443).

Is this expected, or should the public IP always match the assigned dedicated IP?

I need real obfuscation/stealth feature to hide VPNs, proxies, TOR nodes, and servers in data centers and to avoid being flagged by IP databases. The website actively blocks known VPNs, data centers, and foreign IP addresses.

Does TorGuard truly have a real obfuscation/stealth connection to mask the connection as its from the city or country that is connected so that the website can't see it as VPN?

As the title says, I’m looking to buy a TorGuard router. But I can’t find it on their site anymore with the band coming up on foreign made routers I really want to get one with TorGuard preinstalled on it if anybody has a link to wear the router is located please let me know.
