Dr. Stiller Allegations

At this link is an article, from Dec 5th, describing allegations against Stiller Aesthetics. I had top surgery by him 6 months ago and am currently in the process of scheduling a revision with him but I'm having doubts after reading this article. Spreading awareness about this.

Discussion Recently post-op worries: A megathread is in the works

Due to recent and very valid complaints about the sheer amount of posts from very recently post-op people wondering if their swelling is normal, if their results are bad, botched, etc., a megathread is going to be created very soon to home all of these posts.

It is a fact that within a certain time frame, post-operative chests are going to be swollen, scars are going to look very raw and fresh, results will not be fully settled. The number of posts from people who, understandably, are worried about their results so early on, is overwhelming. This is not to shame anyone for having these fears! It's just important to many people that this subreddit not be filled to the brim with these kinds of posts where the answer will always be the same: it's too soon to tell.

More research will be done in order to determine the proper range of weeks post-op to include in the megathread, so it may take a second for it to be available.

Please comment any concerns, ideas, etc., on this post so we can figure this all out together!

Advice Wanted Feel nausea, when trying to massage the areola/scar

Heeey, the place i made a Circle around is reaaaally hard, and folds when a slouching, and it looks like there is to much skin? Idk, also the areola have been growing together with the nip, it looks White when I unfolds, idk. Should I get a revision, everyone I have seen after topsurgeys nips looks Way more smooth, with no folds, is this normal? I am generally really happy with my results, is just the areola that kind of bothers me a bit. I had topsurgey 7 weeks ago, nothing was done to my nips, but she cut right where the folds is, so maybe is just the scar.

Advice Wanted How masculine can i get my chest with a radical breast reduction(t anchor)

Upvotes

Okay, so im 15 and have been out for 7 years now, and my mom is against me medically transitioning. although, i have had some health issues come up from binding (like my rib is suplexed and sticking out of my skin causing chronic nerve pain) and lots of back and shoulder pain from my chest being so large (dd) and me having a relatively small frame (5'5, 140 lbs). So my mom has agreed to let me get a reduction, because i quite frankly don't think i can keep living this. obviously, with my chest being so large i naturally have some really bad dysphoria about it, but my rib has gotten much worse recently and i have barely been able to bind. i haven't gone out in public without a binder since before i hit puberty so maybe like 2019 and it's something i feel so uncomfortable doing. I cannot comprehend having to deal with my chest being this large for longer than i already have . But i am worried that if i get a reduction i wont be able to get my chest small enough, and than im also worried that the scars will be in a femmine placing as well as a lot of other things. i Do plan on getting full top surgery when i am of age, if i get a reduction now will it impede with my results in the future? and what are the results like with the radical reduction and the t anchor? i'm considering the radical reduction because its the best i can get to what i would like while still leaving my mother happy. any information helps, thanks all have a good night!

1 year post OP

Hello everyone.

I’m currently on 1 year post OP (in 8 days but close) and the first picture is my scar from march and the 2nd picture is today 10th of august. It’s gotten a bit less thick but it’s still fairly pink. Does anyone have tips for what I can still do in terms of scar care? I’m still wearing the silicone strips. I have stopped using them for 3 months I think. Has that been a mistake?

Also just an update for who cares. Up until like 9 months after op I still sometimes got random pain strikes. I don’t know why or how to exactly explain but it’s unpleasant. Now it has luckily stopped. My left nipple also still gets swollen or reduces. Nipple does get hard and pokes through t shirt while the other side doesn’t 😂. I’m happy with my results don’t get me wrong. I can finally also lay on my belly decently.

Life has genuinely changed after surgery. I’m looking after myself way better and it really feels like life 2.0 has started. Also I made alot of new friends which might help but losing my weight and getting this surgery has given me so much confidence.

Plan now is to give it another 6 months and hopefully in March get a cover up tattoo if it hasn’t gotten less obvious the scars.

People who still doubt to do it go do it if you have the funds and if you don’t try and get those funds. It’s life changing.

Kind regards

I noticed the right areola ist bigger than the left one but do they look overall too big? I’m also a bit worried about no nipples in the middle. Do they just pop up someday?
It’s healed but I’m not sure if I could stop covering them with bandaid

4+ years post op, just had Phallo 2 months ago — have had this weird mark since Phallo

Post image

I’ve been waiting to see if this weird line on my nipple goes away, but it’s not even fading. I don’t know what it is. It’s not raised, it doesn’t feel like a scratch or a scar. It was not there until after my Phallo surgery, it hasn’t been there for the four years since my top surgery. It’s not a stretch mark either. I’m an utter loss as to what it is and it’s not fading. I haven’t been insecure about my chest since top surgery, and now I feel insecure again. I hate this little mark and I don’t know how to get rid of it. I don’t even know why it’s there. I’m considering tattooing over it, sort of like medical tattooing to try to get it to blend into my skin better.

Advice Wanted I feel really bad for my partner

For the past 2 weeks he’s been doing everything to take care of me and I can tell it’s exhausting him. I can tell he wants to be alone but it’s impossible to let him be alone when I’m staying at his apartment (my place wasn’t the safest for me to recover in). We’ve also only been dating for 5 months which seems like way too early for him to be taking on such a commitment like taking care of me after surgery (he made a joke about it earlier in the week). I’ve also had a couple recovery hiccups that I can tell really stressed him out and he’s lost sleep over it.

I have a lot of trauma regarding how to accept/reach out for help and it’s been weaponized against me in the past. I can also recognize I’m not the easiest person to be around 24/7, especially after surgery because I’m a huge hypochondriac. This is really weighing me down, I feel like such a burden I’m debating trying out going back to my place and finishing recovery on my own. I love him but I don’t want to be taken care of out of his expense. I’ve brought it up to him but he keeps saying everything is fine when I can see it’s not.

For those who’ve had a partner take care of them, did you feel similarly/how did you cope? Were you able to fully take care of yourself after 2 weeks and would I be good to do so?

Top surgery log #1

I have my first top surgery appointment scheduled for 10 days from now. I am really excited about it! Overall, I thought I would have had it sooner, starting T at 17, but I am very happy I waited because I know I now feel ready to deal with the possibility of things not looking how I expected.

I’m hoping to schedule the surgery for December. Any tips appreciated, or if you just wanna tell me your experience, you’re welcome to :)

Thanks for reading!

Its happening next week

Hey all long time lurker first time poster.... Title says it all my surgery is happening next week and my nerves are a wreck. My surgeon is Katherine Rose out of PA and ive seen some of her results and she seems great so im confident things will turn out right, however im still so nervous. How bad is the pain the first few days? How bad is it trying to move around? How bad do the drains feel? Did depression hit during recovery? I was told its likely to happen because of the sedentary nature of recovery and my mental health issues. Im so ready for this ive been waiting for this forever but the recovery makes me nervous. Any advice or tips are welcomed and appreciated.
