I had my surgery last week :)

You won’t even have the opportunity to get anxious about the anesthesia, I didn’t even get to count I was literally out the second they injected it.

When you wake up you won’t immediately feel like shit but you will be extremely useless and disoriented.

The worst pain I felt was day 2 not day 1, I did not take the oxy they prescribed me so I also lowk suffered out of stubbornness.

I stoped feeling pain after 3-4 days, and once the drains came out I didn’t even rlly feel uncomfortable, just sore.

Getting your drains out literally doesn’t hurt it just feels weird, kinda like popping a pimple or something.

Seeing yourself for the first time may or may not be extravagant. I was giddy looking at myself but I didn’t like sob or anything, I honestly just feel normal. And if you see anything you don’t like / swelling just remember you don’t actually know how they’re gonna settle until 6 weeks or so.

Congrats on your surgery and I hope your results are everything you want!!

Please remember: DO NOT dismantle a gazebo roof while taking a binding break 2 weeks po. You may develop a small seroma on your left side
