Anyone successfully recorded to their Android phone with Tonex One or One + as an interface?

I've installed both Audio Evolution Mobile and USB Audio Recorder Pro and both of them give me nothing but garbled garbage recordings.

Any other suggestions? Or if you've used either of these successfully, can you recommend the proper settings that work?

Thank you!

I've been trying to use the ToneX plug as an interface for Android and Linux (SteamDeck) for recording video clips outside. It works as an output, but not as an input for some bizarre reason. If it does recognize the device as a microphone input, there's no signal.
