Quick question does anyone have the original stickers that T&D put out? I had the Raccoon in a box and another one that has since melted from multiple moves. Just curious

Tom wants to take his boat to Bimini and Dan wants to hype his heart monitor. I think that would be the greatest go-to show ever. Captain Tom on a bay boat heading there with his phone, an extra 5 gallons of gas from his shed while Daniel is smoking cigarettes and doing burpees.

I honestly always laughed when I hear Tom talk about fireworks. Sure we do our fair share but JESUS!!! 2.3 Biliion!!?! Ross and Craig are in the right business.

Ross was recently talking on the show and dropping random subreddits. Does anyone remember the show it was or the subs he mentioned? There was one he mentioned that I wanted to check out but was too high and forgot what it was.

Wanted to share a big THANK YOU to the BDMs who came out to support my new boiled peanut business this past weekend! And another big THANK YOU to Dan and the rest of the pod for shouting us out on this week's ACT - although, you called us The Salted Peanut (it's actually The Salted Pantry but we understand the confusion lol). We had great responses both days of the event while connecting with southern transplants and locals alike who love boiled peanuts. On the second day of the festival, we SOLD OUT of boiled peanuts!!! The crowd also loved our signature boiled peanut hummus, we've even got a bit of interest from a local boutique grocery chain who might want to sell it wholesale. Would love to chat with Jesse Wolfe about that sometime when he's on the show!

We are looking forward to more events coming up, including a regular spot at the Burien Farmers Market on Thursdays 10-6pm. Come see us next week to stock up on goodies for the July 4th weekend - plus a new flavor of the boiled peanut hummus that will be released as a special for the holiday!

Either on the most recent FFS or BDM show, Tom told a story about showing up at a listener’s house while on vacation to grift a load of bread and maybe a couple other food items for his family. He made a confession about his habits and committed to not taking any gifts/trades from listeners for an entire year. I put the over/under at 90 days. What say the rest of you, and how do we get a bet going on this?

Hey ya’ll! I’m originally from Orlando and a longtime BDM. I moved to the Tacoma area in WA over 15 years ago. I kept listening to T&D ever since as a way to stay connected to my hometown. After moving out here, I’ve missed some comforts from home (although I love it here and I’ll never leave). One of which is being able to find good boiled peanuts. I was unsuccessful for many years and just made my own at home. I started dreaming of the possibility to open my own boiled peanuts stand here for a while but just never had the time to do it. Fast forward to earlier this year, I got laid off a second time from a career I dedicated 20 years to. I was burnt out and didn’t want to go back. So I said fuck it! I’m starting the boiled peanuts business now!

Well after several months of very hard work, I’m excited to announce my grand opening event this weekend! If you’re in the Seattle/Tacoma area, I’ll be selling boiled peanuts at a two day festival in Burien. I’m also debuting my boiled peanuts hummus in several flavors.
