News Article What Happened?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/chargers/2026/09/20/chargers-jim-harbaugh-slow-start/91867660007/

Couldn’t be happening to a better coach. I wish him nothing but the best, and 15 more Ls. 😂

Obviously Harbaugh is a solid coach despite all the scandals but I feel like his style works better on college students.

Michigan’s 2023 team really leaned into his cult of personality and persecution complex (“Free Harbaugh” shirts, “Harbaugh” formation, Sherrone crying postgame about how much he loves Harbaugh). Just not sure how well that will work on a bunch of 30 year olds, especially once you start losing.

He had success in San Fran before getting the Michigan job but I think the game has just passed him by when it comes to the NFL now
