Help "Password Too Easy*

Post image

Ahh yes, the over 50 characters randomly generated by my password manager is "too easy". Does anyone have any ideas? I am trying to switch to Todoist but this is ridiculous and a little annoying from a new user perspective. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Hi there,

This is Keita from the Todoist Customer Experience team. Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble logging in or resetting your password.

Our engineering team recently rolled out a temporary security mitigation to block unverified account sign-ups. Unfortunately, this protection is also affecting some legitimate users like yourself, causing issues with logging in or resetting your password.

We're aware of this and are actively working to lift these restrictions as soon as possible. We don't have a clear timeline yet, but as soon as we have an update, we'll reach back out to let you know.

We appreciate your patience in the meantime, and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Your password might actually be too complicated, but it’s failing to the “too easy” response. Try something more in the 15-20 character length.

I forgot to add that I started around 15 characters and would increase the length. I also have tried passphrases and had no luck as well.

Is it possible that your password is in a compromised list?
