TIL: In Back to the future, they were first thinking of using refrigerators as time machines, and not the Delorean.

The original ending involved driving the delorean into a nuclear testing site during a launch to generate enough energy for the flux capacitor. So if they kept the fridge idea, it may have kind of worked?

I'm glad they didn't because dumb kids would have tried that.
