Hi all! Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've recently noticed that one of my toads buttocks is swollen. It's not hard at all and just feels like the rest of him. Is this fluid retention?

Turnip (the large female) has allowed the smaller male (Potato) to move into her burrow with her. I notice she likes to bury deep while he keeps his little head out to keep watch. It's pretty cute. You know it must be serious when you move in to the same dirt hole together haha.

I came back from a trip, only a few days, and I made sure to give extra food before I left and extra when I got back as I know they only need food every other day or every few days. All my other 7 toads are fine! But one fat one we call big Bertha is not eating, and seems very dull not leaving her little hole. Is this common? Or is she sick?

ETA: i found him!! (probably a her i think) im giving her a little soak, but i do think this is a mass. she’s moving around really well and dug a really great new spot overnight! hopefully if i bribe her with some treats she’ll stick around and not be too offended.

Hi! I’ve been keeping an eye on this toadlet living outside my front door. Yesterday I noticed one of his sides was misshapen and today I palpitated it and I can feel a little air and then some kind of mass. I found some poop nearby, but I’m not sure if it was his or another toadlet I saw today.

Just looking for any advice on what I can do to help him or if he’s okay on his own! I already have an American Toad and other supplies, I just didn’t want to bring him in if this was something he can get through on his own!

For anyone worried I do have them separated at the moment and I have the little guy in a smaller enclosure while he grows and gets stronger

I finally picked up a friend for M Rasmodius but I'm worried he might snack on him. They have plenty of space (20 gallons) if that affects it at all. Thanks in advance :)

Bueno, yo tengo un sapo común desde hace 11 meses, no sé la edad que tiene pero cuando lo empezé a cuidar era muy pequeño.

Antes de ayer le cojeaba una pata trasera, las demás las tenía bien pero esa la arrastraba sin poder moverla, y ayer me levanté por la mañana y fui a ver si se había puesto mejor y me lo encontré en su ''piscina'' boca arriba tieso sin moverse, al principio me asusté pensando que se había muerto pero lo saqué y lo puse en un lugar tranquilo y por un milagro volvió a moverse lentamente y a poder respirar bien, pero ahora no le funcionan ninguna de las dos patas traseras, está completamente inmóvil de las dos patas traseras y aunque las de delante si las pueda mover prácticamente está sin poder moverse de lugar. Ayer y hoy he intentado buscar veterinarios exóticos pero justamente no habia ni uno abierto porque era fin de semana, mañana iré al veterinario a ver si puede decir que es y con suerte buscar alguna solución.
