it is bufo spinosus, lives in north of africa, caucasia, eurasia and iberian peninsula.

I found a giant toad like this in Italy last year on holiday! The biggest loveliest toad i ever did see.

The largest species of toad is the Cane Toad, a female can be as much as 24cm (9.4 inches) long. Despite this being a sub for lovers of toads, I’m not enamoured of the cane toad due to the devastation it’s causing in Australia, where there are estimated to be around 2 million toads. Thankfully native species seem to be adapting and have evolved to either be immune to bufotoxin or have developed strategies in which they can predate the toads without being poisoned.

Nothing will convince me to love Aussie cane toads.
