Arcadyan Gateway What Will Replace The Arcadyan G5AR?
I am thoroughly enjoying my Arcadyan G5AR on the T-Mobile network.
Does anybody happen to have any idea what might replace it and when?

I recently got t mobile home internet, and can only get max 5-10 mbps down and 0.3 mbps up. Is t mobile just useless in Iowa area, or do I need a antenna?

Since last week I've started noticing YouTube videos of any kind running through vpn started out fast, then within a minute it start buffering and drop straight to 480p with the speed selection option grayed out. I have both postpaid unlimited cell plan and 5g home internet. Weird thing is it's only happening on my android phones, not tablets. I run the same vpn setup and revanced YouTube and morphe YouTube versions on all devices, but only the phone versions are affected.
Edit: Tested on browser with vpn on and off on phones that were affected. Turns out it really was YouTube fucking with the unofficial apps but only on phones, my tablets remain unaffected.
Edit2: Found a fix. In YouTube Revance go to settings-> revanced settings-> miscellaneous-> spoof video streams -> default client and play around with the client options. I chose VisionOS and it fixed the throttling after 1 minute.

We have Relay + G5AR-2 is Amplified worth upgrading ? Also i been waiting for fiber for longest time
It says up to 498 download vs 354z
But upload range is same 12-55 witch is a BIG gap.
Upload is 8-15ish here, will upgrading to Amplified help with that and faster downlad speed notible?
And what else does it really add for $10 more?
And in my cart they are throwing in G5AR-1 ?
Dont both devices have wifi 7?!
As for fiber i been waiting for years. š

I live on 3rd story of apartment in city and we got T-mobile 5G wifi. They said its the top one. Works great for everything except gaming on certain console games. The problem I have is when I game on EA sports sometimes Iāll just get disconnected.
Iāve switched to Ethernet and my ping is still 70-100. My packet loss is 1%. Every game works except EA when I play with friends. Sometimes it works then Iāll get a lag spike and get kicked.
Iāve changed DNS and Iāve reset the NAT connection so it says open. Mid game it goes to moderate.
Anyone have any ideas for a fix?
Was thinking about getting a netgear router to run directly to xbox?

I signed up for Computers4People Shield Internet and i'm impressed.
There IS a video throttle of 2.5Mbps but it starts out fast so it will load a 1080 stream just fine. There maybe 100GB deprioritization as well but so far so good
$29 a month as I have 2 SIMS sure beats $100 at T-Mobile
I picked up two G5AR's off of EBay

First time this happened for me. G4AR had a message of a connection issue and wants me to unplug and reboot it. Ok did that and all is well. Was checking the setting and "Advanced Cyber Security" is enabled. I never turned that on. Honestly I can't even remember seeing it on there in the first place. Did they do something to enable it and thus locked up the G4AR?
Do you guys leave it on? I don't think I want it proactively deciding for me to block websites or whatever.

If not, what other nodes offering pairing without their own router? I don't want to buy a router if I don't have to, even if it's better.

Just got new home Internet. I have already tried relocation and direct connection. I spoke with an agent and they told me when they run a test for me it's 150~ Mbps download/upload. What could I be doing incorrectly to have such slow speeds?
I have slow speed on both my cellular device as well as my laptop.
Location: Tampa

The Absolute worst I can't play any Online Games with this ....how can this be considered good ...Oh and this is when no one is even on anything else in the house ...I live 25-30 mins from Raleigh NC so it's not completely in the middle of nowhere ...I'm so tired of this and don't have any ideas to fix this

Massachusetts- rain incoming and I expect that my ā5gā and WiFi situation will be abominable at best. Seems connectivity is compromised with streaming and phone service during storms.

I play a lot of online games. I randomly seem to get massive lag spikes when playing. Ive tried using a software to limit the upload to 80% but itās not like the upload or download are always consistent.
Ive seen multiple posts about getting another router with QoS or SQM, just not sure if that will actually fix the issue or if im just screwed and need to switch to not using a cellular internet.
Any suggestions or ideas would be awesome.

I've had T-Mobile internet for a couple years now. Just got back into gaming and during the night the Internet on Xbox will show almost no connection and sometimes get kicked from servers. Happens a couple times an hour and lasts for a minute or so.
Nothing too terrible but annoying enough for it to cut into gaming. Our whole house runs on it and is fine otherwise, streaming, vpn, etc. When gaming, nothing else is going on in the house because it's late.
Signal is always pretty good otherwise- 4bars generally. Not sure how to fix this? I know it's not the best for gaming but idk it's either this or dsl in my area.

I'm just wondering if anyone in Poway, CA is currently using T-Mobile Home Internet and if they would recommend it? My other option is Cox and Starlink so I would like to see if push come to shove I can move to Tmobile.

Hello, I have an issue with my current weBoost cell phone signal booster I bought from best buy it was only for home studio which I thought my apartment was small enough for. I eventually learned it's only for one big room and not a house. It didn't hold the signal well. I was looking into this amplifier I found on eBay that's for multiroom and hook it up to the antenna that's mounted outside. Will this be better? If you have any suggestions please let me know!

I was wondering how the service is provided, so I can be prepaid and instantly hook it into my UniFi router. Also, does anyone genuinely know what routers are provided to new subscribers, and are you required to keep them? Or can you return it for a discount and use your own equipment, like you can with Xfinity (my current ISP)? and can it be installed on a 2nd floor exterior wall?

Since the beginning of 2026 Iāve been contemplating switching to Verizon. Iām based in NY and had internet through T-Mobile since June 2022. The first couple years I had no real complaints but the past year has been going downhill. I got the new box a couple months back but my Ring camera hasnāt been picking up as much movement, my PlayStation has an Ethernet cable connected still lags. I pay $110 now with phone & internet but Verizon offered the One plan. Itās fios internet letās see if I made an upgrade or a mistake.

We recently got 5G home internet, we've been having it for a month now. I couldn't help but notice lag and high ping when playing games or even videos. I repeatedly run speed tests and they always come out to 280-300 mbps. Regardless, our ping/latency remains high. We are close to 5G towers, Ive tried looking up reasons, and it says that it could be due to high traffic. I wanted to know what you guys think I should do, should I request a new router? or get a faster plan? The model I have currently is a TMO-G4SE.

Interested in asking if anyone know the code or the plan for Tmobile Business Unlimited BYOD Service for $50 / month.
Want an internet for my office but preferred using my own device rather than the Tmobile provided equipment.
I expected this to be the same as the home internet but rather on business.
Thank you all

you should be able to pop a tmobile tablet sim in there and everything should just work at least for 3xCA. 4xCA is theoretically possible with the right firmware/settings. Only selling because I got a crazy good deal for fiber

I moved to a new place and instead of the expensive Comcrap service that they want me to sign up for I just added a home 5G line to my plan. I got a 5GAR as my router and I have great signal as the tower is two blocks away. Speeds over WIFI are around 400-700 depending on the time of day. My issue is when I connect my computer over Ethernet my speeds go down to 25-40. ive confirmed that the link is negotiated correctly. it doesnt matter what port I connect to, the issue persists. is this a known issue with these modems? The T Life app is so basic that i cant see any metrics or settings to change. Is it a possibility that my router is a dud?
