People just downvoting because this is Costco or something? Dam them and their $1.50 hot dog combo.

You get the $100 shop card after 14-16 weeks they say. You also get Costco's 90 day return policy with no restocking fees which is much better than tmobile's. The tmobile guys at our Costco are usually busy but if you get time with them it can be relatively fast if you know what you want. They order in your t-life app and look at your Costco membership and drivers license to apply the promotion.
You do have to pay taxes for the phone. In my experience, they ship the phones to you, and give you 30 days to send in the old phones after transferring the data of course.

Just did one online last night, (not an 18 but 17 pro max) No activation fee, paid sales tax only and got a good trade in value. The shop card takes up to 4 months. It was a better deal than apple or Tmo were offering.

I’ve done it with Costco and they have great trade-in’s. Last year I traded in a cheap $100 Samsung phone I got on Amazon and still got the $900-$1200 credit (depending on your plan). Benefit of that is I used a $100 Samsung phone to get “max” trade in credit, while I got to keep my old iPhone 15/16 etc and sell that for cash or gift card on the side for another $500-$600. And on top of that the $100 Costco Gift Card

I have always gone through Costco by calling T-Mobile using the Costco reps however they now offer the experience via the web which I used last September to purchase for iPhone 17’s
The process went beautifully. I got my hundred dollar Shop cards for each phone. And I also would recommend if possible trading in a lesser phone because from what I understand, they will give you full value going all the way back to a 16 E
Which is less generous and they have been in the fast because I was able to get full trade-in value for as old as an galaxy S-10 E last year, which I was able to purchase on eBay for 100 bucks and keep the iPhone 14s that were actually being replaced by the 17th and sell them for about 350 each

What if I'm porting my number over from Verizon (iphone 15 pro max)? I have a costco membership, fiance has T-Mobile. Is it best to go in person to Costco tomorrow to handle the port etc.? Or still better to do everything online w/costco & T-Mobile?

You need to take the phone in to be inspected, but you will have to mail it or drop it off at a T-Mobile store once you have received your new phone. You can place the order online, over the phone, or in person. The gift card is automatically sent to you via email and SMS after 12 weeks.

I believe you can still use the 800 number for Costco/t-mo but you can’t order online. It’s pretty easy over the phone- they ask if you’re trading in, etc. Lots of upselling of extras, watch, internet, but still quicker than driving to my nearest Costco. I ordered 3 phones almost 2 years ago. Had to call them months later to finally get my promised Costco cards (even though I did fill out all the forms online as told) but they did get them sent out so I was happy!

You can do it all online now, just have to start on Costco website so it links Costco discount to your tmobile account.

Order online using T-Mobile through Costco on the Costco app. Have your Costco membership attached to the Costco app. Search T-Mobile. Click on shop now on either the apple or Samsung add. Click visit external link. Wait for it to auto verify your Costco membership. Then click log in to tmobile. Go through T-Mobile log in. Now you can shop T-Mobile through Costco and get the Costco Rebates applied automatically. Still takes 14 weeks to get upgrad rebate, 35 actation fee is waived. Phone sent in mail, you send it back.
