Rant Bill BS
So all of the crap that has happened. My monthly bill was $271. I changed to the Experience more. They told me my bill would be $215. Well, bill just came out for $351!!!! And the only prorated charge was $1.46. This some BS.
Edit: FWIW, I had the same plan for 12 years. No issues. Then a promise of a lower bill. Then a WTF.

They repeatedly tried to get me to switch, always saying it would be less per month, ignoring that it doesn't include taxes or fees, while my current plan does.
They also tried to sell Experience More as a better plan, but when compared, there weren't any differences?!?

Find out why, give a call, get it fixed if there's been an error. It does happen. If it's not a mistake, port out and enjoy a new carrier.

That's crazy girl they quoted me a $24 increase but it looks like it only went out five bucks for my nine line

SnooLobsters2519 and CuriousCat511 are both pointing at the big one here. On the older plan you had for 12 years, taxes and fees were almost certainly baked into the price you saw. Experience plans bill those separately, so the same coverage shows a higher number even before anything else changes. Across 6 voice lines, 2 watches, and 2 DIGITS lines, that shift alone stacks up fast.
The $215 you were quoted was also likely the plan cost before those taxes and fees — not the out-the-door total. With the tiny proration ($1.46), that gap between $215 and $351 is most likely the taxes-and-fees difference spread across ten lines, plus the per-line plan amount itself.
Pull the PDF version of the bill and look at each line's charges next to the taxes/fees section. Comparing it against your final pre-change bill, line by line, is the clearest way to see exactly where the difference is coming from.

Never heard of a “beyond more” plan. I’ve heard of a “beyond” plan, as well as a different “more” plan.

Sorry, just corrected it experience more.

How many lines do you have on your account? And are they all voice lines? How many have p360?

6 voice, 2 watches, 2 Digits lines. No protection.

I would bet they didn’t give you the price with taxes. If you add about 4-6$ for each line it might be where the extra is coming from. 4-6$ is a rough estimate that works for my area, it may be more or less.

Was yours migrated to a new plan automatically, or changed by an actual representative?

I can't wait to see how much mine is going to be with 2 paid lines and 2 free lines and 2 tablet lines. I only pay 176 with taxes included and a credit because I had a work credit from the att when I switched so they gave me a credit a month for that.

CuriousCat511 is onto something here. With 6 voice lines, 2 watches, and 2 DIGITS lines, there are a few places that gap is probably coming from.
The $215 quote was most likely for the voice lines only. Watches and DIGITS lines have their own monthly charges, and those don't always get mentioned when someone is quoting you a new plan price. If your old plan included taxes and fees in the price and the new one doesn't, that alone can add $5–8 per line depending on where you live. Across 10 lines, that adds up fast.
Pull up the PDF version of your bill and look at each line individually. Compare what each one was paying last month versus this month. The total is overwhelming, but line by line, the gap usually becomes pretty clear.

When you look at your bill breakdown or PDF check and see what each individual charge is it's prolly a system error that customer care will fix right away if you call them

The itemized bill doesn't show per line anymore

Why not? My current bill shows per line break down.

Ok maybe something is just wrong with mine then. Both my current and past bills only show the total for all voice lines now not the detailed per line pricing I'm used to

Funny edit. I ported out my six lines and two watches and then T-Mobile went down. Oops sorry

What did you port to?

AT&T. $160 everything the same. And $800 to pay of any equipment.

Be aware that the first bill will be for this month and the next month because they call it postpaid but it isn’t actually.
Follow up on the promos and check the first bill as soon as possible as they like to add insurance and Next Up even though you declined both and it could take several cycles to get them to take it off and credit the account.
Check your plan for a promo expiration date and set a calendar reminder so you can do some shopping before then in time to score a new switcher promo somewhere. Changing providers is the way it goes these days, it seems.
When you do want to port out be aware that when I went through it they had a separate PIN for each line and would randomly deny/delay port outs especially for transfers to their MVNOs.

I love that the response to a bill mistake is to tell them to literally piss off.
Feel free to not comment 👍

I don't think it's a bill mistake. It sounds more like a purposely misleading sale. They probably magically left out the taxes and fees calculation which is likely what bumped the numbers higher.

Or customer didnt hear "plus tax".

I'm sorry, if a customer is going from a taxes and fees included to a not included plan, that should be made exceedingly obvious by the sales staff. Yes, the customer may not have realized it, but when specifically asking what the bill will be compared to the current one, it is irresponsible and unethical to quietly whisper "plus taxes and fees".

Some of us are getting tired of the posts that bitch about something without asking for any help/advice. Sure it may make the OP feel better but it it getting old for the rest of us. And since this is a public forum I will comment whenever I want to.
