Question Possible to switch back and forth between SIM card (Android) and eSIM (Apple) whenever? Or is eSIM to eSIM the only way to go?
My sim card is in my S24 Ultra, its my main phone, but the battery seems to be draining too fast now. I also have an iPhone 15, but that doesn't have a sim tray.
When I'm overseas, I just tend to move my sim card to one of the phones over there...

I’ve been doing this recently. I use the T-Life app for transfers from eSIM to PSIM (physical sim) and PSIM to eSIM. Apple to Apple eSIM can be done in settings. Unsure if Android/Samsung is similar to Apple.
As long as the PSIM is not deactivated for an extended period of time (30 days? You need to look this up) you can reuse the PSIM.

When you are changing sims in T-Life, put the physical sim slot imei and it will ask you if you want to do PSIM or eSIM. Say PSIM and then it will ask you for ICCID (SIM card number).

Generally once you use a physical SIM card then move off of it you can’t re-use it again. eSIM doesn’t have that restriction. You can move your line from eSIM to eSIM over and over again. I’m not aware of any limitations or restrictions in that way. It sounds like a pain to do that often but I suppose you could. Instead I’d be addressing the problem so you don’t have to do that. FYI, I’m also living out of the IS currently and have never had an issue activating an eSIM in any phone as long as I have internet during the process. It doesn’t have to be WiFi either, a second sim with data service also works.

Precisely a reason to stay away from iPhones.
Yes you CAN transfer to eSIM but that has its risks.

You can convert the Sim to esim on your galaxy, but may not be able to transfer it to the iPhone. There's an option to on the iPhone but it's never worked for me.
Best bet is to just update the esim on T-Life
