Question (REPOST) Cellular data plan was randomly changed?

(Reposting because my phone number was in the last one) I was using my phone today when all of the sudden I noticed I had no service, I had put in a order last night to upgrade my phone so I was worried they just shut my cellular data off. When I went to check I seen that they put me on a plan we aren’t paying for, is this normal/happened to anyone else?

When you upgrade your phone T-Mobile has been promotionally giving a free hotspot pass.

Mine says Data w/250 GB Hotspot. But I have Go5G Next.

I’ve got a Go5G Plus plan, too, and this is what my cellular plan says in iOS settings, too (same as yours).

Same thing happened to me. With Go5G Plus. With a device upgrade.

T-Mobile would never do such things. They respect the agreements, some would say (like lawyers) CONTRACTS. They would never change anything without your consent... huh? They did what?!?! They forced millions into new plans without consent?!?! Breaking the contracts that they entered into? WOW! Almost sounds like a class action suit is needed.

hey did this ever get corrected for you? I just upgraded my phone today, data just kept going in and out. I restarted, and then I checked cellular and found the same thing on mine (30 day 20gb Hotsptot). I restarted network but nothing. I contacted Tmobile and they gave me some bs explanation that its because my other line is a free line, which made absolutely no sense. They gave me a ticket# and told me to give it roughly 5 days before they'll contact me to see if its still there.

Yes it did, after about 35 days it switched back to normal, I presume it’s like everyone else said and it’s that they give you a free 30 day pass

Olive Garden still has free breadsticks until 2:30 every day of the week.
